Turkana county is 77,000 sq kms and borders Ethiopia South, Sudan and Uganda.

Lodwar is the regional and administrative headquarters.

It has other 5 main towns – Lokitaung ( near ethiopia), Lokichokio at South Sudan border, Lokori and Kainuk.

The county is endowed with different natural resources

Need for good investment climate was emphasized. Turkana county will be an Investor friendly region. All border towns be opened to accelerate trade. Improvement of roads, kitale – lodwar road be

retarmacked. Opening of Nadapal town as free market port to

serve South Sudan. Creating water dams for irrigations and light

industries.
