About Us - East Riding Horticulture was formed in 1989 to act as a sundries merchant to the professional grower, landscaper and groundsman. Since then the company has steadily grown and established itself in all horticultural sectors including Turf & Amenity. Built on a “family” style business we pride ourselves on offering good solid technical advice coupled with the right product at the right price.

Delivery - Where possible, deliveries are made by our own drivers using our own vehicles ranging from 7.5 tonne lorries to smaller vans and pickups. A range of complex NPK fertilisers with nitrification inhibitor DMPP.

During the active phase of DMPP the transformation of ammonium to nitrate is delayed,

as a result nitrogen availability is further adapted to the plant’s needs and nitrogen

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

As a Penetrant: Apply at 1-2 litres per hectare (0.1 - 0.2 grams per square metre) never

exceeding a solution strength of 1%. This will aid adsorption of water into the soil for up to

2 weeks. Applications should not be made more frequently than every two weeks or at

higher concentrations.

As a Curative: Apply at 2-3 litres per hectare (0.2 - 0.3 grams per square metre) never ex−

ceeding a solution strength of 1%. Allow to stand for 30 minutes then flush through thor−

oughly with irrigation water. When used on localised hydrophobic areas a strong flush us−

ing hand watering will be most effective.

Club Loam A loam with a typical clay content of

between 25-28%, Club loam is used at clubs

that need a true firm pitch but do not have

the resources to cope with the higher clay

content of County Loam.

County Loam A loam with a typical clay content above

30% giving a firm true pitch able to last at

least four days at County Cricket level or to

give a better surface to a higher standard

club.

KaLoam Kaloam has for a long time been the

preferred choice of many a cricket club and

many a cricket groundsman. Its familiar light
