This is only a reference, the type certification as well as manufacturer’sapproved service bulletins should be referenced for all maintenance actions.
Definitions:Cycle - Any operating sequence involving engine start, aircraft
takeoff and landing, engine shutdown.
Hour - Any time the engine is operated in flight. (Liftoff to touch-
down.)
TBO - Time Between Overhaul, the amount of time between
scheduled overhaul maintenance actions as recommended by
the manufacturer.
Hot Section Inspection (HSI) - The scheduled disassembly,
inspection and assembly of the turbine section as defined by the
applicable engine maintenance manual.
Gearbox Inspection (GBI) - The scheduled disassembly inspection
and assembly of the gearbox section as defined by the
applicable engine maintenance manual.
Engine maintenance is the single largest cost associated with your aircraft.

reference of the scheduled maintenance and life limited components of yourHoneywell (Garrett) TPE 331 engine.

Manufacturer recommend TBO and maintenance intervals and cycle limits in accordance with Service Bulletin 72-0180 latest rev. TBO and maintenance intervals specified in this service bulletin are the manufacturer’s approved intervals. Individual commercial operators may extend these intervals with the approval of their local FAA or appropriate airworthiness regulating authority.
