In a globalizing world it is important to
reflect on the contextualization of Refor-
med theology and the Reformed world-view. What is their relevance for different
contexts and cultures?
The Theological University of Kampen is launching
a new English-taught Master’s degree programme:
Master of Intercultural Reformed Theology.The pro-
gramme consists of one year of full-time residential
studies in Kampen (or two years part-time). After suc-
cessful completion of the programme you will receive
a Master of Arts degree in Theology. Outstanding
students can continue their studies at PhD level.
The programme will start in September 2015.
What is unique about the MIRT
Programme in Kampen?
The MIRT offers international students a unique op-
portunity to:
• Become more deeply acquainted with Reformed and
neo-Calvinist theology and tradition;
• Reflect on the relevance of Reformed Theology for
today and in their own context;
• Study in Europe: the cradle of the Reformation;
• Learn from qualified professors and experts from
Kampen and like-minded theological institutions;
• Enjoy academic cultural exchange and fellowship
with international students from around the world.
We trust that, besides being formative to the stu-
dents, this programme will also stimulate contacts
between theological institutions and professors and
promote future international cooperation so that
the heritage of the Reformation will be fruitful in our
global world. Apply beforeApril 15!
