Here's the next opportunity to share your opinion: Middle School Audit on Mon. 11/4 (Time: TBD) Twice a year, our network leaders have formal observations and talk to students, teachers, and now families about how the middle school is doing overall. We would love to have 5-6 families join us on Monday, 11/4 (Morning, exact time: TBD) for that convo so that we can get your feedback on how to improve. Fall Pride Dance, Friday October 25, 2019

All scholars are welcome for an evening of dancing & socializing

When: Friday, October 25th from 4-6pm Where: CIP Gymnasium

Permission slips will be going home with scholars by this Friday, October 18, 2019.

Water Bottle

Scholars are required to have a water bottle daily. If a plastic water bottle is purchased, scholars should reuse this bottle as

often as possible. We will have some water bottles to purchase with PRIDE dollars at the end of the quarter. No other drinks

including seltzer or juice are permitted.

Now Accepting Kindergarten Applications for the 2020-2021 Lottery!

Coney Island Prep is now accepting Kindergarten applications for the 2020-2021 lottery! As a note, your child must be 5 by December 31, 2020 in order to apply. You can apply online at

As a reminder, siblings of current Coney Island Prep scholars get priority, along scholars of CIP staff, families living in District 21 and English Language Learners. If your child

A medida que se acerca la semana PRIDE, queremos que los estudiantes tengan la oportunidad de participar en la

celebración de nuestra escuela y su arduo trabajo. Haremos esto teniendo una semana de días temáticos de vestimenta

Lunes 10.21 = Día de Pijama Martes 10.22 = Día de Gemelos

Miércoles 10.23 = Wacky Tacky Day Jueves 10.24 = Camisa CIP y Pantalones (Jeans)

Viernes 10.25 = Día del Personaje de Libro

Baile de Otono Todos los estudiantes son bienvenidos para una noche de

baile y socialización. Cuándo: Viernes 25 de octubre de 4 a 6 p.m

Donde: CIP Gymnasium

Las hojas de permiso se enviarán a casa con los estudiantes este viernes 18 de octubre de 2019.

Botella de Agua

Los estudiantes deben tener una botella de agua diariamente. Si se compra una botella de agua de plástico, los académicos deben reutilizar esta botella con la mayor frecuencia posible.

Tendremos algunas botellas de agua para comprar con dólares PRIDE al final del trimestre. No se permiten otras bebidas,

como seltzer o jugo.

Ahora acepta aplicaciones de jardín de infantes para el Lotería 2020-2021!

¡Coney Island Prep ahora acepta solicitudes de Kindergarten para la lotería 2020-2021! Como nota, su hijo debe tener 5 años

antes del 31 de diciembre de 2020 para poder presentar una solicitud. Puede aplicar en línea en coneyislandprep.org/enroll. Como recordatorio, los hermanos de los actuales estudiantes de Coney Island Prep tienen prioridad, junto con los estudiantes del personal del CIP, las familias que viven en el Distrito 21 y los Estudiantes del Idioma Inglés.
