FIRST  RESULTS    Radon  monitors  comparison  at  DEC3

The  first   specific   study   carried  out   at   the  DEC3   site  has  been   a   comparison   exercise   of   two   radon   monitors  which  are  based  on  different  measurement  principles.

A  radon  progeny  monitor  developed  at  the  University  of  Heidelberg   (Germany)   and   belonging   to   the   AGH  University   of   Science   and   Technology   (Poland)   was  tested   against   a   radon   gas   monitor   developed   at   the  Universitat  Politècnica  de  Catalunya  (Spain).

Results   obtained   during   the   measurements   period   are  shown  in  the  upper  figure,  together  with  meteorological  variables  and  CO2   concentra<on.  Both  monitors   show  a  high  level  of  agreement.
