Welcome to KB for 2019! KB have been doing
five amazing weeks of learning and growing
and we cannot believe how fast Term 1 is
going by. We are getting to know one another,
making new friends and finding our way around
the school. We have been very busy in the
classroom learning our Daily 5 routine, letters
and sounds. We are busily practicing our
counting and working on our number
recognition skills. We have recently
participated in the water carnival and we had
an absolute ball! We haven’t stopped talking
about how much fun it was and cannot wait
until our next one in 2020.
Miss Bates is very impressed with every single
member of KB and how beautifully they have
settled into their first year of Kindy and what
outstanding progress they have all made in
just the first five weeks. She cannot wait to
see what we will continue to achieve
throughout the whole year.
Our school canteen is open on WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY & FRIDAYS!
Weekly Specials Fresh Fruit sticks & Jellies - $1.00
Cheese & Bacon Rolls $1.20 Homemade Choc Chip Muffins $1.20
Canteen menu on back page…
K/1P have had an awesome start to learning
this year. We have been busy developing
independence in our Daily 5 Literacy
time, practising our writing, sounds, sight
words and reading in both our Reading Jungle
and the Engine Room.
We are enjoying our hands on Maths rotations
where we've been practising to
count forwards and backwards, recognise and
write numbers, adding 2 numbers together
and 2D shapes.
We can't wait for our awesome learning to
continue.
Hats can be purchased for $7 from the school office.
