A WORD FROM THE PRESIDENT

Firstly, I want to give God all the glory for making this dream a reality! We believe that the festival is not only our dream, but also Gods will. This festival is not just

about showcasing films, but rather to exhibit what God is doing and how He is using ordinary people and their skills to tell transforming s tories. These stories are what

make this festival amazing and to showcase these stories to people in a theatrical environment is where we see God moving. The festival is also an opportunity for

the Body of Christ / Church to reach out and invite the world to see how lives can be transformed by a God who is real and alive! Movies have the capacity to change

our perspective, our way of thinking, our feelings, our morals, cultures and society! Lets take back the industry and become an example to others in the way we

present the truth through stories, leaving an eternal impact in the minds and hearts of every viewer.

Last year we as a management committee watched 108 films and we can testify that God is doing something unique through film makers! The quality and standard

has been raised, the content has become more Biblically accurate and the stories have become more powerful. Through watching these films we have been taken on

a journey to nations around the globe, experienced unique cultures and heard various languages. We can say with confidence, Our God is Great and His Greatness is

portrayed through film. We applaud the film makers, directors and producers for making outstanding films with a heart for transforming cultures through storytelling!

2011 will be the second year of the festival. In 2010 the festival was also presented as part of the Lausanne Congress: The Third Congress on World Evangelization:

Cape Town 2010, where more than 4500 delegates from many nations were introduced and encouraged to utilize the power of film in sharing the Gospel. This year

we are inviting the nations of the world to join South Africa as we host the festival. Interested nations may contact us to discuss the possibilities in becoming a hosting

nation of the festival in their country. The festival will be presented in October 2011 throughout South Africa and thereafter it will be available to be hosted by confer-

ences, nations or nationwide organizations in other interested countries. The management and administration office in Cape Town South Africa will facilitate and

implement the entire festival.

I would like to appeal to all production companies, ministries and businesses to support the festival through sponsorship and advertising opportunities and help us

make this years festival truly spectacular. I invite you to join this journey in transforming cultures and fueling the global revolution of Christ-centered film making in our

The Transforming Stories International Christian Film Festival requires not only aninfrastructure of dedicated individuals and a marketing mechanism for advancingthe agenda, but also the financing necessary to secure the outcome and thefestivals overall sustainability.Transforming Stories International Christian Film Festival (TSICFF) is a fest ivalshowcasing powerful, inspiring, faith affirming, evangelistic, transforming stories to

the world and the Body of Christ.

The 2011 TSICFF is a not for profit global project needing USD ($) 250 000.00 toenable the organizers to host at the level of excellence and international standardwhich they wish to promote in at least 7 countries around the globe (South Africa,America, Canada, Australia, England, India & Taiwan). To attain this amount offunds sponsor partners, donors and advertisers are needed. With your help, theTSICFF will continue to grow into an organization known for rewarding talent andtransforming culture for the good.The purpose of the festival is to showcase powerful, inspiring, faith affirming,evangelistic, transforming stories in the form of film to the world and the Body ofChrist in every nation. No longer will we as followers of Christ allow our world to bepoisoned with profanity by media elites. Instead, we are encouragingrevolutionaries out there to produce stories which can transform our culture intoone that will be in line with The Kingdom of God (Yahweh), one of Justice, Peace,

Righteousness and Love.

What makes this festival so unique is that it was launched in 2010 in South Africathrough the partnership and association with the Lausanne movement, where over4500 International Christian leaders from over 200 regions in the world wereintroduced to the festival. This opportunity has established great relationships toensure future growth of the festival. Through our continuous efforts and with a trulyglobal reach the festival aims to inspire Christian leaders to make use of films toevangelize, teach & transform their communities. This festival sources films from

across the globe and then the same film festival program is presented in different hostnations around the world.
