Truxor with their unique properties as multi-functional machines has ad-vanced throughout the world on both land and water since the first ma-chine was manufactured in 1996. The machine is the first of its kind on the market. Its amphibian properties make it superior when it comes to work in and around the borders between land and water. With the correct driv-ing method, the minimal ground pressure of the machine makes it possi-ble to advance without undue damage to the land. Truxor is therefore suit-able for use on golf courses, private lots, nature preserves and sensitive land sites where other machines have difficulty moving.

Truxor is easy to drive, rotates completely around its own axle in water and has great precision when operating around e.g. docks. The broad assortment of tools gives the machines great flexibility in different kinds of work. The quick connection system allows for easy exchange of most tools and the machines are changed from reed cutters to collectors in the wink of an eye.

Our machines are delivered with standard hydraulic oil, ISO WG 46. The machines can also be delivered with environment-friendly oil. We are pleased to offer two models which are largely similar to each other. There operating properties differ in the different engines, hydraulic systems and the optional tools.

Truxor DM 4700 B is our predecessor which has been available on the market since 1996 and has been continuously up-dated and improved to become the machine it is today. We recommend this machine for professionals and entrepreneurs who want a dependable and flexible work-ing machine; primarily for reed cutting and gathering of water plants.

Truxor DM 5000 is our latest model with a stronger engine and a new hydraulic system allowing use of all tools with the machine as a power source. In addition to the cutting tools and rakes, we can also offer a new and broader assortment focusing on oil decontamination and dredging for this machine.

Truxor DM 4700 B is a popular, well-known face on the market. The first machines were sold in 1996 and have been exported during the years to customers all over the world.

When the machine was introduced it was unique and a new technology within the branch. It was big news that one and the same machine could perform both reed cutting and gathering, dredging and digging. Today, the concept is just as up-to-date and the machine stands strong in its class. Truxor DM 4700 B is a flexible work machine for professional use with two joysticks; the left regulates operation of the machine and the right steers the lifting arm and operation of the tools. Its amphibian properties allow the machine to move easily between water and land. In the water, the paddle tracks give the machine good precision when driving in narrow areas; the machine turns on its own axle. A Truxor brakes in distance of less than a half metre from full speed. A quick-connection in the lifting arm allows for easier exchange between most tools; easily managed by one person. Truxor's flexible construction allows for easy loading and unloading on the trailer which means enormous moveability with low starting costs when beginning the work. Compared with Truxor DM 5000, this model has a more simple hydraulic system making it most suitable for reed cutting, gathering and maintenance of marshlands. For larger power requirements, we recommend Truxor DM 5000.

Doro Cutter 3090/3091

The Doro Cutter 3090 is recommended for nor-mal reed cutting and is usually the obvious choice in most waters. The cutter is operated hydraulically and is easily connected to Truxor’s equipment bracket. Cutting depth is 1 m. The knives are exchangeable and the working breadth may be varied from 2.2 to 4 m. The cutter requires water for lubrication during work and is therefore not suitable for use on land. A stone-triggered system protects it from breaking the knives against solid objects. The Doro Cutter 3091 is the same model of cutter, but has an extended cutting depth of 1.4 Both models are delivered as standard with a knife work width of 4 metres.

Doro Cutter ESM 2100 The Doro Cutter ESM 2100 is a front-attached cutter with Busati model double-action knives which means that the cutter does not need water as a lubricant when working. The knives do not require water for lubrication and are suitable for use in shallow water and in marshlands. The Doro Cutter ESM 2100 has good capacity and can also be used for thick reeds. Work width 2.1 m and cutting depth 0.5m.

Doro Cutter ESM 1700

This cutter is side-mounted on Truxor for cutting along riversides and channels so that the angle of the cutting unit can be adjusted. The knives are a Busati model which means that the cutter does not need water for lubrication when working. Doro Cutter ESM 1700 is equipped with an automatic stone-triggered solution which protects the cutter when motion is stopped due to solid objects. The cutter has a work width of 1.7 m and a cutting depth of 0.5 m. It has good capacity and the Doro Cutter ESM 1700 cuts thick reeds and plant growth without problems.

Doro Cutter ESM 2200 Doro Cutter ESM 2200 cuts and gathers at the same time which is a good property for work in small boat harbours and small streams where the water is constantly in motion and the gathering work is facilitates the work considerably. When using the cutting function only, the collection net for the cutting bucket can be disassembled. Doro Cutter ESM 2200 has a work width of 2.1 m and a cutting depth of approximately 0.8 m in water. The knives are a Busati double-action model which means that the cutter does not require water for lubrication while working.

Collection - just as important as cutting Cut water plants left in the water act as a fertiliser. We therefore recommend that cut plants always be collected and removed. By gathering water plants and picking them up, you also help to remove part of the "over-fertilization" from the lake. For those using their reed cutter in different type of water, we usually recommend cleaning the machine between moves in order to prevent spreading undesired water plants to new water systems.

Strainer plates, accessory to standard rake.

Springing rake When the waterside is uneven, the material can be removed from the water using the springing rake and then collected using the standard rake.

The gripping bucket and grip are used to lift plants and sediment from lake bottoms and beaches. The tool can be combined with a telescopic arm or a mechanical bracket. With the tool attached, the telescope has a working depth or 1.7 m. If the work area is primarily beach edges and surface work, a mechanical bracket for the grip and gripping bucket should be chosen. The work depth will then be approx. 0.9 m. The mechanical bracket has a lower weight which gives it greater lifting power compared with the telescopic arm.

Lifting rake Its strong construction makes the rake an excellent tool option for e.g. cleaning beaches and lifting of somewhat heavier objects. The strong forks allow for lifting e.g. stones, trees and plants with roots which can lie along the beachside and on the bot-tom of the lake. Work width: 1.2 m Weight: 36 kg Art no. 94-68000

The Doro Pump is the latest addition of dredging pumps to our assortment and is combined with the Truxor DM 5000. The pump is run by a hydraulic engine; it has a capacity of 10 - 40 m³/h. The pump is mounted on a telescopic arm (sold separately). A rotating wheel with horizontal cutters and vertical teeth aerates the sediment and cuts off roots and soft materials to facilitate feeding of material into the pump. The rotating wheel makes the pump easier to maneuveur than its predecessor which had a feeding screw at the pump inlet. The feeding is important to providing an even flow of sediment to the pump; also facilitated by the knives positioned at the inlet of the pump.

Good quality and performance have always been our motto and we have, through time, gathered experience and a know-ledge base which we willingly share with our customers. The factory in Dorotea has manufacturing, a spare part stock as well as sales. We have customers and retailers throughout the world. And when the world is our market, Dorotea is just as central as any other place! Spare parts for our products are available at Dorotea Mekaniska AB and at our partner’s Rajo, in Belgium,

About reed cutting Our lakes and waterways are overgrown due to overfertilization and much discussed climate changes. The lakes are acidified preventing the flow of water. By cutting and clearing inlets and outlets, the lakes can continue to prosper and in many places cutting is performed to im-prove the flow of water and prevent flooding. Regular reed cutting allows for increased use of lakes and waterways in the form of available, navigable waterways, access to fishing, more beautiful views and well-kept bathing sites.
