Automated Optical Inspection

The TruView Hawk Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) meets the quality assurance requirements for visual inspection of electronic components in tape and reels. Ideal for quality control and counterfeit detection operations, the TruView Hawk utilizes a powerful digital microscope to automatically take photographs of every component in the tape (no need to remove the transparent cover-tape) at a speed of 1,000 parts in 15-20 minutes. The real time feature analysis algorithm is used to compare the acquired images in search for lot uniformities and anomalies. The TruView Hawk software then automatically generates a report detailing the suspect components in the lot. This report is created as a webpage that can be easily customized and placed online for customer’s remote inspection. Also works as a parts counter.

Automated Report

TruView Hawk has an easy to use software to acquire and analyze the photographs taken by the digital microscope. You can select to inspect the whole component or just a region of it. The software automatically compares the images acquired in real time with the reference image you selected. Comparison results of the label (text on the part) and features (shape of the part) are displayed to allow for quick identi!cation of bad parts.

With TruView Hawk you no longer need to move around a large number of images to create a report. The TruView Hawk automatically generates a comprehensive report in a website format. Open the report with your favorite browser and sort the columns of the report as a webpage. You can also share the link with your customers so they can have direct access to the data. Fields of the report can be customized.
