In the midst o what has turned out to be quite a tragic spring,
in terms o natural disasters, trust customers who utilize FFSBs
ull service recordkeeping can have peace o mind knowing their
trust contracts and inormation are sae. For many customers FFSB
maintains a hard copy o the preneed contract in our Batesvilleoce and stores contract data and accounting in our IT systems.
Firms using this service have access to this inormation should
their location and records incur damage. Details o FFSBs recovery
procedures and annual testing records can be ound in our annual
SAS70. As your trustee and recordkeeper, FFSB is able to provide
you with this added layer o protection allowing you to ocus on the
more important aspects o running your business, particularly in

State expansion continues
FFSB can now serve as trustee in Arkansas or uneral, cemetery
merchandise, and cemetery perpetual care trust unds. There are
several other states in process. As FFSB continues to expand
its authority to serve as trustee in other states, we will keep
you inormed. Following are current maps outlining the
availability o Forethought Trust throughout the U.S.
Changes within Forethought
Federal Savings Bank
As part o normal operations, Forethought Federal Savings
Bank works with other banks in a variety o ways. In May
o 2011, Forethought Federal Savings Bank moved certain
banking services rom Fith Third Bank to US Bank. Most othese changes will not aect you and will not require any acti
on your part, but we wanted to make you aware o them. One
o the changes you will notice is that the checks you receive
rom Forethought Federal Savings Bank will now be rom a US
Bank account instead o a Fith Third Bank account. Also, i yo
are a customer that either sends or receives ACHs or wires, yo
will notice the new US Bank account. I you have any question

As you have seen rom reading our newsletter over the last yea
we put orth great eort to make our Operations processes
more ecient and eective or you. We upgraded our trust
accounting system to allow or more unctionality and on-line
real-time access to your trust accounts. Contracts and orms
have been revised and updated to comply with the many
state laws that have changed over the past year as well as to
accommodate product changes. We also expanded our ability
to serve as trustee into 9 new states.
We want to make everything simple and hassle-ree. To do
this we have committed resources to the on-boarding proces
o new accounts as well as assisting with trust transers to
FFSB. With this goal in mind, Natalie Maret, will ocus on these
responsibilities. She has been working side-by-side with our
other Trust Administrators to ensure smooth transitions into
FFSB as new customers sign up to use our trust products.
Natalie brings many years o trust experience to this role.
