TC 2000 R: compact, fast, intelligent The TRUMATIC 2000 R is a machine for punching, nibbling and forming flat sheets at maximum speed. It is also characterized by its compact dimensions and its intelligent, open control. With the TC 2000 R, you can produce one-off items just as economically as small and medium-sized batches, with fast turnaround times and low idle times.

Punching technology in new dimensions The TC 2000 R is a punching machine based on a new concept. It rounds off the range of punching machines and combines typical TRUMPF standards with a new concept. The high number of strokes brings high productivity:

• 900 strokes/min

• 108 m/min simultaneous travel speed

• Active hold down is almost at punching speed

• Fast signing with approx. 2.200 strokes

• Fast forming: the speed is close to normal punching

• Short tool changing times

• Fast C axis rotation: 3/s. The high accuracy is achieved by various, complementary, constructive measures:

• High lateral stiffness of the frame due to short throat depth. High rigidity has a direct impact on accuracy. In addition, the following applies to the tools: low tool wear, especially for off-center loads.

• Low heat output -- The drives are located outside the machine body. This eliminates one of the main heat sources.

• Narrowed backlash in the C axes enables the smallest kerf. The C axis works extremely precisely due to the absolute backlash of the tappet (new hydrostatic guide). Even very thin sheets with a narrow kerf are processed accurately and safely.

User friendly • Equip the tools conveniently from one position into the linear magazine.

• The machine optionally has a second stop pin for convenient loading of small sheets.

• Sort good parts up to 200 x 200 mm in 2 parts boxes. Cumbersome manual sorting is eliminated.

Machining without scratches and marks Scratch resistance plays a major role, especially for machining stainless steel:

• Brush tables prevent the formation of scratches on the underside of the sheet metal. In addition, the use of TRUMPF adhesive pads for the punching tools is recommended.

• Manufactured parts can be removed from the switch by hand. The tables go back to it. Scratches that could result from the parts falling apart in the parts box are thus avoided.
