Born in Houston, Texas, Karen Rice was the seventh child growingup in a very large family. Even with so many around, she alwaysfound a way to sneak a little time for herself in a hide-away space todream. Karen grew up in the church, as her father was a Baptistminister. While in high school, Karen’s life was all planned out bybecoming a model/actress, and she worked at it, while also work-ing at other jobs to raise her child alone after a broken marriage.Later in life she had a head-on collision with breast cancer and itchanged her entire outlook on life. Through her tragedy and all shehad to endure, it became an awakening for her, where she receivedall the strength and encouragement to write down her thoughts toshare with others.
