Triploidization was chromosomes manipulations of fish organism have odd number of chromosomes (3N). Triploid organism (species) generally was sterile, have better growth rate and higher cell division ability than its normal diploid species. The aim of this study was to understand and examine effect of heat shock of 40 0 C in 1.5 minutes about differences of fertility, hatchability, and survival of 30 days larvae, and success of triploidization in Goldfish (C. carpio L.). The material used in this study is Goldfish eggs and sperm derived from the parent who is ready to spawn. The research method was experimental with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments with 6 replicates. The treatments were fertilized eggs without the provision of heat shock (control), heat shock of 40° C for 1.5 minutes on (treatment 1): 15 minutes (treatment 2): 3 minutes or (treatment 3): 5 minutes after fertilization. Parameters measured were percentage fertility, percentage of hatching power, the percentage survival of larvae up to 30 days. The effectiveness of induction / triploidization success is measured by the diameter of red blood cells larval treatment outcome. Analysis of data quality / quantity carried out statistically by F test (ANOVA). The Observations were made on egg fertility, egg hatchability, 30 days larvae survival, and polyploidization induction success. The results showed that the early time of heat shock with a temperature of 40 0 C 3 minutes after fertilization gave the best result for the detention of the release of polar body II to form triploid individuals. The size of the diameter of red blood cells triploid goldfish is much larger than the diameter of red blood cells diploid goldfish, and treatment of 3 minutes after fertilization produce triploid goldfish ever.

Triploidization was chromosomes manipulations of fish organism have odd number of chromosomes (3N). Triploid organism (species) generally was sterile, have better growth rate and higher cell division ability than its normal diploid species. The aim of this study was to understand and examine effect of heat shock of 400 C in 1.5 minutes about differences of fertility, hatchability, and survival of 30 days larvae, and success of triploidization in Goldfish (C. carpio L.). The material used in this study is Goldfish eggs and sperm derived from the parent who is ready to spawn.

The results showed that the early time of heat shock with a temperature of 400C 3 minutes after fertilization gave the best result for the detention of the release of polar body II to form triploid individuals. The size of the diameter of red blood cells triploid goldfish is much larger than the diameter of red blood cells diploid goldfish, and treatment of 3 minutes after fertilization produce triploid goldfish ever.
