2 This shows how Impregum has flowed in and around the tabs of the Triotray, making it extremely unlikely that the dental technician will have any problems with multiple die castings. In this case the lower posterior tabs have been bent upwards to accommodate a restricted arch form.

3 One of the most common problems with impression taking is tray rebound. This occurs when the tray flexes during the impression phase and, upon removal, the tray 'rebounds', resulting in an inaccurate impression. (Often the stone die will be too small and the crown will not fit or will rock during seating). The metal Triotray resists flexing and has additional tabs protruding from each side that prevent the tongue from interfering. This virtually eliminates tray rebound and gives the practitioner consistent, predictable impressions and restorations.

4 Another common problem found in impression taking is the separation of impression material from the tray. The Triotray's side tabs can be manipulated to fit any size arch and they allow the impression material to become interlocked, removing any worry about material separation from the tray. Laboratory technicians also appreciate the stability of the tray during model fabrication.
