Automatic Man Down Alerting
The Trio’s smart, motion-sensing technology can
automatically detect the kinds of impacts and
falls that are consistent with injury, as well as
inactivity that may signal loss of consciousness.
On detecting these, Trio will automatically raise a
man-down alert. SOS Alerts can also be activated
manually by the user.
Location-Aware
Trio supports two wholly-seperate positioning
systems to ensure that location information is
always accurate and up to date. The most recent
location information is then tagged on every
alert, minimising the delay before crucial help
arrives. GPS ensures accurate location information
outside, whilst PageOne’s Indoor Location
Beacons (ILBs) provide accurate information
on-site, be it a Hospital, Factory or other
premesis.
Indoor Location Beacons
PageOne ILBs are small low-power beacons that
transmit a periodic signal that is decoded by Trio
devices within their vicinity. Each ILB has a
unique ID and in an emergency the Trio’s SOS
alert automatically sends the details of the
nearest beacon helping you direct assistance to
the right area.
By installing ILB devices in strategic locations staff
can be effectively monitored throughout large
building complexes such as hospitals or
warehouses. PageOne can provide advice and
Lone Worker - Meeting your duty of care
PageOne Lone Worker services help ensure the
safety and security of staff in the field. Now, Trio
helps close the loop in providing accurate indoor
location information for Lone Workers who are
on-site or in doors and where GPS signals may
not reach. As well as providing SOS alert and
man-down facilities, a welfare-check mode
enables an automatic periodic reminder which
needs to be acknowledged. If a user fails to
respond to a welfare check reminder, an SOS alert
is automatically initiated and the users handset
location is reported.
Alerts are received by a registered Connect
messaging account and can also be auto-
forwarded to any combination of SMS/email/
pager/SmartGroup. A Lone Worker dashboard also
gives a status overview of all Lone Workers and
provides an auditable trail of messages and
activity.managing of messages/status and/or Lone
Workers site-surveys to help determine the most
effective use of ILBs throughout your site.
