Dear Trinity Session and Legacy Committee, You have given generously to make sure both the Milton and Pace churches have a called pastor. No words can tell you how happy I was to learn of your help except to say Thank You. God Bless, Janice Fraser, Minister Pace Presbyterian Church and First Presbyterian Church of Milton

The Stumpe family thanks the Trinity congregation for the beautiful memorial for Ada “Hammy” Stumpe on December 3. Dr. Hamilton and Chaplain Dietz provided significant scriptures that encapsulated her strong Christian beliefs. For better than twenty years she was a member of the choir which sang her favorite music. We appreciate the attendance of many of members of the congregation and residents of Azalea Trace. Our thanks to all. For the Stumpe Family, Bert Stumpe

Thank you for the prayer cards and thoughts and prayers from Alice Cushon. She is very appreciative of them.

Thank you to the Sewing Circle (Together in Service) for the Trinity Learning Center Mary and Shepherd costumes. They made the children feel special. A great job once again! Thank you, Jan Beck

Dear Prayer Group Friends, You have faithfully kept me in your prayers since September, 2015. Today, I was given good news to share with you. My lym-phoma is under control. It is not in remission or cured, but it is no longer spreading through my body. I thank God for working through each of you to grant this result so soon and with only minor side effects. Please know how grateful I am for your devotion and for your cards, which have been a daily comfort to me. May the Lord bless you and your families with a joyous Christ-mas. God is good. Claire Benson

Happy New Year to All of our Trinity Friends, Jim and I express our thanks and appreciation to you for thinking of us this Christmas season with your gifts and visits: the darling Christ-mas tree from the Rebekah Circle, and especially the visits from Eileen Mignerey; to the youth for the goodies, tree orna-ments, note pad with pencil thoughtfully already sharpened!; and to Ryan Obray and Charlie Gilroy for their visit and deliv-ery! We miss seeing you each week! Sincerely, Marty Yarling

Dear Friends, Thank you for praying for me. It means a lot to me. I had my first cancer treatment this week (12-14) with five more treatments to go. This is done in the doctors office once a week, and then once a month for a year. Your prayers, and my faith in god will bring me through the treatments. In Christian love, Mrs. Marianne Fortuna

Dearest Trinity Session, Service Committee and Legacy Committee, Pathways for Change is stronger because of you. Thank you for your support (through a Legacy grant), your prayers and your hard work. We appreciate you! Bless each of you. Connie Bookman and the Pathways for Change Team.

Trinity Presbyterian Women's 2017 Winter Retreat

Registration is Open! What better way to celebrate the gift of our own lives, by planning ahead for a

restful weekend retreat at beautiful Pensacola Beach? The 2017 retreat is slated for

the weekend of January 27-29th at Holiday Inn Resort. Our theme this year is "Holy

Places, Holy Time--Finding God in the Everyday," led by the Reverend Sara Holben,

our former pastor.

Since our theme relates to "...Finding God in the Everyday," we included a Light-

house photo to symbolize our search, as noted in Psalm 43:3: "Send out your light

and your truth, and let them lead me..."

This year, another registration option is now available. Just go online to Facebook,

and type in the search line: 2017 Trinity Prebyterian Women's Retreat. When the

website appears, join the group, then just scroll down, and click on the link to online

registration to complete your form online. We are most grateful to Leah McCreary for sharing

her high-tech skills in creating this site for us.

There are three ways to pay your $65 registration fee: First, your check may be mailed to Leah

McCreary at 2101 N. 20th Avenue, Pensacola, Florida 32503; or you may pay your fee on Sundays

for the next six weeks at the registration table in the narthex; or lastly, you may give your check to

Wendy Davies at the church office. The $65 fee covers lunch and dinner on Saturday. Breakfast is

not included.

Holiday Inn Resort has offered us special retreat rates of $89 per night for inland rooms, or $99

per night for beachside rooms. Hotel reservations may be made by calling 1-855-373-7271; ask for

group rates for Trinity Presbyterian Church, Group Code TRI.

Please watch your Sunday bulletins updates. We hope you will make plans to attend this won-

derful weekend of spiritual renewal. Beverly Patteson is serving as retreat chairman, assisted by

Leah McCreary co-chairman, and a committee of able volunteers.

Scholarships for registration fees are available. To inquire about a scholarship, please contact

your Circle leader, or a member of our Retreat Committee.
