Mission of the Month - Oxford House
Oxford House is a mission of Trinity Church in which we wi l l use the rectory to house women in recovery. The process has been taking longer than anticipated: frozen pipes, water damage, minor mold issues, and instal l ing showers and a washer/dryer on the f irst f loor. We got a big boost when Pete Buckle ’s fe l low employees at Aramark and UPMC Susquehanna volunteered a day of cleaning and painting. We also received many donations from members of the congregation. We sti l l have much work to accomplish, but we ’re looking at opening during the Easter season. If interested in developing safe housing for women in recovery, contact Greg Smith.
