MAINTENANCE

Teak is a beautiful and durable hardwood. It requires little to no care and will maintain its strength and attractiveness for decades. All teak parts in our teak outdoor furniture are untreated. The teak patio furniture, when left outdoors, will turn a handsome silver-gray. During the weathering process a slight "checking" or lifting of the grain may occur on the top edges of the arms and legs. You may even notice a few small cracks. This is perfectly natural, as teakwood expands and contracts slightly when left outdoors.

The only maintenance necessary is periodic cleaning. Tough stains can be removed with diluted bleach mixture with water. We do not recommend applying Teak oil on teak outdoor furniture because of the routine maintenance. Oiling outdoor teak furniture may cause mildew or irregular coloring.

Teak is a close grained hardwood with a high natural oil content. It is highly resistant to rotting and almost impervious to the effects of sun, rain, frost or snow. These characteristics make it the ideal timber for all outdoor applications. Many other hardwoods are used for outdoor furniture and some are even marketed as 'teak substitutes'. However, there is no substitute for teak and no other hardwood will perform to the same standard as teak in outdoor conditions.

Only premium grade plantation grown teak is used in TRICONVILLE™ furniture. The features of premium grade teak are consistent grain structure, the absence of knots, splits or cracks. . All teak furniture comes in natural smooth finish.Teak does not require any special maintenance routine. Left outside, the exposed surfaces of the furniture will become a soft silvery grey in color. Besides, weather will cause some surface erosion leading to slight surface roughness, possible mildew and checking. Checking is a natural process that occurs when teak develops small cracks in the end grain. However, this does not effect the durability of teak furniture. All teakwood we use in our production comes from TFT supported teak plantations only.

The mesh weave also speeds up the drying process, making them particularly suitable for use around swimming pools and in backyards. Light stains can be removed with a solution of mild detergent and water, rinsed with clear water and dried thoroughly. Heavy stains can be removed with a quality commercial outdoor furniture cleaner and protectant. A pressure hose on a low setting should be used on sling but avoid the teak frame.

Batyline® is an extremely durable and high quality material consisting of a polyester fiber covered by a coating of PVC, making it nearly impossible to tear. It is 100% synthetic and resistant to rot and mildew. It is highly resistant to UV radiation and fading. It can withstand temperature extremes, ranging from -30C to 70C. It is an ideal material to be used near swimming pools or other aggressive environments with chlorine or salt water. Sagging is minimal as it has a maximum stretch of 3%. It also has a "memory" - it will slowly regain its original shape after it has used, especially when placed out in the sun.

This type of garden furniture can be left outside all year round and is able to stand very low and high temperatures. When very cold, the weave will become somewhat stiffer than normal and in extremely hot temperatures the weave will become more elastic. However, the furniture will retain its normal elastic property once the temperature stabilizes. No special maintenance is required. All covered Aluminium requires no maintenance except regular cleaning of the furniture.

It is 100% recyclable and resistant to chlorine and salt water. Many benefits can be gain from these fibers, such as: strong and durable, recyclable and washable and maintenance free. Viro® fiber is guaranteed for 3 years from delivery to withstand fading, weathering or cracking. The mechanical and physical properties of VIRO® have been tested by the Sentra Teknologi Polimer, Indonesia and the productivity and Standard Board, Singapore in accordance with the test methods issued by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and the International Organization for Standardization ( ISO).

use. Olefin Fibre is a solution dyed then woven. It retains color and vibrancy for years. Olefin is soft and comfortable, resists stains, mildew, fading, and abrasions. Easy-Care, open weave construction make it stays cool. It has good abrasion resistance, dries quickly and carries

moisture away from the skin. Resistant to degradation by chemicals, perspiration, mildew and weather. Colorfast – Olefin holds its bright colors well and is resistant to fading. Environmentally Friendly – The production of olefines leave very little waste by-products or

residue. Olefin is easier to recycle than most other fibres. Olefin, in its basic form, is made into packaging materials. These materials are easily melted and reused.
