Cars & Coffee. This is a lot of fun and the MBZ club has not been very well rep-resented. A real car guy or gal activity and now that it is starting to cool off, it is an evenbetter way to spend a Saturday morning.
Cars and Coffee™ Las Vegas launched June 4th, 2008. The first show had over 250cars and promises to grow as word of the show spreads throughout the community. Carsand Coffee™ Las Vegas is a weekly Saturday morning gathering of auto enthusiasts from7:00am - 10:00am where hundreds of proud drivers from the Las Vegas area and beyondwill congregate to kick tires and have a cup of coffee. There will be something for every-one to enjoy; classics, exotics, concepts, hotrods, motorcycles and motor-sport. And it'sall free, minus the coffee of course. Join us every Saturday from 7:00 am to 10:00 am at9500 S Eastern Ave in the Sansone Park Place shopping center (215 and Eastern). Comeout and support Las Vegas' own weekly car meet, make some new friends, hang out forawhile, and see some amazing cars. Suggestion made by Ed Pasini
It’s a beauty.
From Ed Pasini, EventmeisterSeptember 19 & 20 overnighter. This will be a scenic tour. We have two days to cover the route sothere is plenty of time to stop for pictures, coffee or just to enjoy the scenery. The route includes manyinteresting and scenic roads. We will be traveling through one of America’s premier vacation areas. There will be the usual number ofmotor homes and trailers. Practice safe courteous driving and share the road.REMEMBER THIS IS A TOUR NOT A CONTEST OF SPEED.A stop at Mount Carmel Junction is planned for Lunch. We will pass Bryce Canyon National Park. Forthose who choose to do so, may enter the park, drive the rim road and view the sandstone cliffs and“hoo-doos” carved over centuries, by wind and water. Park entry fee is $25 per car.
We will stay overnight in Torrey Ut. at the Best Western Capitol Reef Resort. The Group rate of 94.99+Tax will be good until September 12. and includes a Continental breakfast on Sunday morning. Makeyour own reservation by calling 435-425-3761. Mention the Las Vegas Mercedes Club to receive thefavorable rate. Saturday evening at 7:30 PM we will dine at the Cafe Diablo, a few blocks from the Hotel and find outhow many of of our drivers are ready to sample rattlesnake. Please refer to the web site for detailed information. The Eventmeister needs to let theCafe know about how many will be there for Dinner. Please contact Ed at 702 361-0113.
