COACHING

Campus Life staff, This resource was created for a “Coach” (a more experienced Campus Life staff member) to walk along side a new Campus Life staff member. Both the coach and student would use this resource when either meeting in person or over the phone. A few ways to make this time more successful for both:

• Read through the corresponding section in Campus Life 101 before going over it. • The “Noteʼs” box is for the coach: to write notes, action steps or other specifics mentioned

during the meeting they want to remember, it is for the “student” to write down specific details they are learning, details they want to remember, or action steps they need to take before the next meeting.

• Italics are directions that are just for coaches. The remaining directions or questions are for coaches to ask the Campus Life staff directly.

• One way to be successful is to create action steps at the end of each meeting to stay accountable to.

• Make sure to schedule meetings ahead of time and remind each other of them. • Enjoy time in relationship, there will be conversations that donʼt follow this guide at all- enjoy

and learn all you can from each other. We hope that this resource benefits you and the way that you minister to kids through Campus Life. We would love any feedback you have for us. May God bless this time ahead, Campus Life
