CHAPTER 6SOCIO-ECONOMIC STUDY

I. IntroductionA project to be worthy does not only mean profit from it, but most

important is how it can contribute to the Philippine society. It must equip toward

social and economic responsibilities. Bearing in mind the contribution it can give

for further development of the community where it is established as well as the

welfare of the people living within the vicinity of the area.

The evaluation of the study draws the attention of the following:

1. Employment and IncomeOn the first six months of generations of Safe and Sound Travels

Agency, the owners of the said company work as employees of their own

business. After short months of operations, these owners will employ proponents

who will take their places. In that way, we are helping competent and qualified

job seekers and unemployed individuals with considerations to their ability,

character, and educational attainment to their skills and knowledge and were

providing them a source of income themselves.

We do not only provide the whole packages of traveling and tour to

the travellers, but also we will offer some broad range of services and of course,

as time goes by, it is expected that our business will expand. We will establish

branches in other areas, like in Metro Manila, and outside NCR. By expanding

the business, there will be more employment to provide the people by way of

rendering our services to them, well reliable source of their travel and tour

packages.

We should not forget that the government is also benefited through

the tax we pay if everyone’s employed and earning, then we could say that the

standard of living will improve and more into a higher level. The company’s

success is everybody’s success.

2. Benefits to the Government The government’s income comes from the individuals and

businesses who are obliged to pay taxes as contribution for the development of

the country in order to carry out the government functions, employees and

businesses like Safe and Sound Travel Agency should pay taxes promptly and

honestly.

The facilities and standardization, building, infrastructures

expanding projects for livelihood programs, paying off debts of the government

and developing the country. The more the taxes and revenues, the more the

funds will be provided to the programs or projects of the government that really

benefit the public. In order to lessen the economic crises we are experiencing,

the owners and employees must know their duty of paying tax.

3. People in the CommunityThe firm will greatly contribute to our country, we will be able to

expand our help to our countrymen by promoting tourism within the country; we

know that once we encourage people in the country will have jobs, which will be

able to help Filipinos to improve their lives.

The business will also coordinate with various organizations and

groups that aim to protect our natural resources. In that way, the country will be

more exciting to visit. We will also give tasks and seminars to different places so

that they will know what to do to enhance their area to be a suitable place for

travelling.

4. ClientsOur immediate client is the visitors in Araneta Center Cubao. But

still, we consider as our consumers the business professionals of the city; we will

assure them that they will have the traveling experience they are looking for. We

also guarantee that they will have the best flights available, and also, the best

traveling experience. Good relationship with customers and warm

accommodations to them will be given.
