Asset Management: Beyond TAMP

Although the scope of the federally required TAMP is Roads and Bridges on the NHS, GDOT measures all roads

• Road Classification Process

• COPACES measuring provides more detail than federal requirement

• Data collection activities leveraging technology

• GDOT’s definitions for “Good” and “Poor” condition levels are more detailed than the federal definition

Integration With GDOT Continuous Improvement Activities

As targets and measures are established, OPMR will integrate them into the existing quarterly Performance Reviews with each District and Office.

This will ensure:• Continuous focus on

performance-based outcomes related to FAST Act requirements

• Improvement opportunities are identified and addressed early
