Transport Research CAR The come in a range of shapes and sizes. Sports cars are lower to the ground and more streamlined. Range rovers are big and bulky designed to scale different type of terrain. If I was to design a car I would make it specific and try design a certain type such as a Ferrari or a mini which have distinctive features and would be easily identifiable. BUS Buses come as double decker's and single decker's. If I was to design a bus I would make a double decker as it would be more distinctive as to what it is. Buses are long and contain plenty of seats within. I would paint my bus red as that it the stereotypical colour of an English bus and would make the toy easy to recognize. The majority of buses also include advertising across the sides of the bus too. Space Shuttle They look similar to planes however they have distinctive features which tells them apart the truncated cylinders at the back are the engines. The wings of the shuttle are considerably shorter and wider and the body of the shuttle is generally bigger. They don't have much decoration and are usually monochrome. They are not available to the public so only have a select few seats for crew men. AIRPLANE Airplanes engines are situated underneath each wing of the plane the wings are bent at the ends so that they are more aerodynamic. They are decorated with bright colours so they look attractive to customers and can seat a few hundred people so are considerable in length. SHIP These ships are very big in size as they are designed to hold thousands of people on board and is one of the only modes of transports which are designed for passengers to sleep on board. They are built up as different layers called decks. They are streamlined at the bottom where the boat cuts through the water but not as aerodynamic above sea level. They are generally decorated in oceanic colours. TANK These are very strong modes of transport as they are designed to withstand firearms. They are small and don't hold very many people within, they are used to transport military personnel through dangerous areas. They are decorated in a camo coating to attempt to blend into its surroundings. The wheels are tracks as it has to scale different terrain and most distinctively its armed with a gun which rotates 360 degrees. TAXI These are designed to carry upto 4 passengers to different destinations, they are yellow or black in colour and are littered with advertisements all over. They are basically cars but what tells them apart is the advertisements and the distinctive colours. If i was to design a taxi I would either do a typical new york cab or a british black cab as both are distinctive in colours and features. MOTORBIKE These are designed to transport upto two people at a time, unlike cars the have two wheels and require a small amount of balance to ride them. They are usually very bright and vivid colours. The engine is situated underneath the seat. Protective clothing is needed when riding a motorbike incase of an accidents. I think that this would be the hardest vehicle to design as it is very intricate in detail.

If I was to design a car I would make it specific and try design a certain type such as a Ferrari or a mini which have distinctive features and would be easily identifiable.

BUSBuses come as double decker's and single decker's. If I was to design a bus I would make a double decker as it would be more distinctive as to what it is.
