Welcome to The English Institute in Mostar, centre for the study of the English language for motivated children and adults.

Join us for a learning experience which has its roots in the British Educational system and teaching methodology. Lessons are taught by native speakers using English language immersion, local language only used where necessary. Our contemporary curriculum uses active learning approaches and focuses on the application and use of language for real-life communication.

At the end of most courses is the option to take the international-ly recognised Cambridge English exams at European language levels A1-C2. These are accepted at many universities and workplaces around the world.

Pre-School Programme (Age 4.5 years - Grade 1)Our early literacy programme for children from pre-school to Grade 1 gives children the essential building blocks of learning to read and write before they start English at school. Jolly Phonics is a fun and child centred approach to teaching literacy. With actions for each of the 42 letter sounds in English, this multi-sen-sory method is very motivating for children and parents who can see their child achieve.

English for Lower Primary children (Grade 1 - 6)The Cambridge Kid’s Box programme is a highly successful series that introduces lower primary children to the world of English. Interactive activities, amusing stories, video and songs make the learning process a delight for children. Take the Cambridge young learner exams, Starters (pre-A1) and Movers (A1) during Kid’s Box.

English for Upper Primary children (Grade 6-9)Prepare! is a brand new, interactive Cambridge series for early teens. This course contains a wide variety of in-teresting topics, comprehensive grammar study, global culture units and lively video interviews with teenagers, bringing language to life. In the programme is the opportunity to take the Cambridge KEy for Schools (A2) and Preliminary PET for Schools (B1) exams.

General EnglishThe Cambridge Objective programme is for students with higher levels of English and who want a diploma as evidence of English language abil-ity when applying for study abroad at University.* The course contains lively topics, interactive activities and systematic and comprehensive language and exam practise. The Cambridge first Certificate fCE (B2), Advanced CAE (C1) and Proficiency CPE (C2) can be taken at the end of the course

Business EnglishPrepare for study at university or a future career in busi-ness. Business English includes the language of negotia-tions, meetings, presentations, emails, report writing and other situations that professionals face. The course con-tains reading texts taken from the financial Times, real-life case studies and video interviews with business experts. Students can take the Cambridge BEC Business English exams at Preliminary (B1),vantage (B2) and Higher (C1) levels.

* Entry requirements can vary, please check with your particular uni-versity. CAE and CPE are widely accepted. Some universities require IElTS or TOEfl, contact us if you need preparation for these exams.

General English Our General English programme help de-velop your knowledge, understanding and fluency in English. Improve your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills along-side a comprehensive study of grammar. Interactive material, dynamic role-plays, presentation and discussion all form part of this programme designed to help build confident communication in English.At the end of the course is the option to take a Cambridge English exam from Euro-pean levels A2 to C2.General English is offered from beginner to advanced level. Business EnglishOur business English programme prepares you to confidently speak and use business English in a workplace context. One-on-one tuition for adults or children allows the freedom to create a completely individual programme according to your specific requirements. you can work towards particular learning objectives, such as improv-ing speaking and communication or learning technical vocabulary related to your field of business and industry. Alternatively, follow or combine any of the courses above in your own time and at your own pace. lesson times are flexible and are arranged according to your schedule.
