Students are expected to be on time Be at Boot Camp on time every morning Return from breaks and lunch on time
Come to Boot Camp prepared to participate Boot Camp includes a variety of activities both in
the classroom setting and in the community Students are expected to be active participants on
the industry tours

You have just taken a job as a candy tester in the Candy Confessions factory. What makes this candy different from other candy is that each flavor is associated with a fact about you. Your job is to select and “test” two different candies.

Students/Clients of the Lodi Unified School District Transition Partnership Program
Exiting Seniors Students that have graduated and are actively looking
for employment Incoming Seniors
Students that will be starting their senior year in the fall. The focus for this group is on Employment Prep, Career Exploration, and Work Experience.
Who?
Employment Boot camp is a week long program in the summer that includes : Employment skills training Job seeking strategies Interview practice Work experience Team building activities Industry tours Job retention strategies
What?
Opportunity for students to focus on employment without the other responsibilities of school overwhelming them
Allows for intensive training with diploma bound students
Students attending consecutive days for a full week allows us to deliver lessons in a continuous pattern building upon the lessons each day
Why?
Graduate group meets in a conference room at the Hampton Inn
Incoming Senior group meets in our TPP room at our school site
