How the System OperatesThe system operates on a web-based structure that makes use of the “imt.X55 Container Tracking Device” also developed by Arvento, GPS satellites, a dedicated server and a command control center.

Vehicles that need to be tracked are fitted with the “imt.X55 Container Tracking Device” at checkpoints. With the data communicated via these devices, all movements of the vehicles can be tracked online on digital maps and Google maps.

The routes that the vehicles will take, the roadside stops, and the arrival and departure times at the checkpoints are defined in the system. In the event that a vehicle strays from the route defined in the system or cannot be tracked, an alert is immediately communicated to the command control center. Upon receiving the alert, the command control center instantly contacts the vehicle(s) to intervene as needed.

Transit Control System is developed by Arvento for specific working conditions that require long durations of operational control such as international logistics, long-distance transportation and management and tracking of border crossings. The system enables the entire operation to be tracked and managed online.
