Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots,

has moved his forces into Philadelphia

to protect his human friend, Sam

Witwicky, who’s been attacked by

Decepticons. Sam—aided by the

Autobots Bumblebee and Wheelie—has

been protecting Brains—on the run

from the Decepticons—and Carly, who

he met earlier in the year.

Prime believes he’s about to strike a

decisive blow against Starscream, who

has been leading this Decepticon

faction…but Prime doesn’t know that

Shockwave, the deadliest of all

Decepticons, has actually arranged

this attack. This fact is discovered by a

team of Autobots sent to infiltrate

what prime thought was Starscream’s

base…but was actually a trap. Now,

Chromia and the injured Arcee hold off

the Decepticons so their sister, Elita-

One, can reach the other Autobots and

warn Prime. But Shockwave’s

lieutenant, Astrotrain—who’s spent the

last several days building a cage for

something—is in pursuit.

Meanwhile, Shockwave has launched a

deadly siege against the Autobot’s

base in Diego Garcia. And all the while,

Megatron watches his plan come to

fruition…
