BR/NC review training : Activities in 2018
Learning objectives of the training course of PaMs reported in NC/BR
• Understand methodological background, and how to conduct reviews.
• NC/ BR reporting requirements for the Parties on PaMs and their
effects, and target under the Convention and the Kyoto Protocol;
• How the reported information on targets and the PaMs in NC/BR relates
to commitments under the Convention and its Kyoto Protocol;
• How to review information reported in the NCs and the BRs;
• How to draft findings in the review reports
UNFCCC training programme
• Date back to December 2002 for the GHG inventory reviews.
• Courses are designed to ensure the reviewers have relevant knowledge, and
know how to use the UNFCCC reporting and review Guidelines.
• Structures are different depending on the training programmes.
Updated NC/BR training programme (19/CP.23)
While, TTE training programme separates the courses on
methodologies and on how to conduct technical analysis.
