ABOUT THE TRAINING COURSE PROJECT “YOUTHPASS – YOUR PATH”

Last August 2016 GLOBE participated as Sending Partner in the ERASMUS+ Project “YOUTHPASS – YOUR PATH” (Project Code N° 2016-1-EE01-KA105-017063), organized and hosted by EESTI PEOPLE TO PEOPLE (Estonian Organization). It involved youth workers from 12 different European countries: Estonia, Italy, Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, UK, Latvia. Our Team, formed by Serena, Alessandra and Gianmarco, participated to the Training Course “YOUTHPASS – YOUR PATH”, in Taevaskoja, in the middle of the Estonian forest, from 11 to 18 August 2016. We are very pleased to tell and share this interesting experience realized in a multicultural context, in this brief report.

The PROJECT “YOUTHPASS – YOUR PATH” involved youth leaders, youth workers, trainers and teachers to reflect and discuss about Youthpass certificate and its creation, validation and recognition as non-formal education document. The main aim of the Training Course was the reflection and better understanding of Youthpass as a certificate for the recognition of non-formal education and also the learning process of young people. The group of participants was mixed because it was composed by Youth workers, youth leaders, teachers, volunteers that work in different contexts and with different types of non-formal education methods. All participants were interested in practice different methods of non-formal education and to reinforce the participation and the active involvement of young people within ERASMUS + projects. Moreover the Training Course offered the opportunities to meet new people and colleagues from different European countries, to know the culture of other countries, to promote the intercultural dialogue and youth mobility, as well as awareness of belonging to the European youth community.

FINAL FEEDBACK

Thanks to the activities carried out during the Project “YOUTHPASS - YOUR PATH” we had the opportunity to work in international groups and to improve their communication, transversal and language skills. All the participants gave a positive and active contribution during the activities, realizing productive reflections about the focus of the project. They spent their time discovering their self and different cultures, creating new collaborations and friendships, in a positive and intercultural environment.
