WelCome To eDify Training
The CompanySince 2006 Edify Training has been delivering exceptional, highly interactive training workshops to its clients. Back then the company was entirely focussed on training to the Care sector; however many of the courses also proved of interest to wider markets and so Edify now also serves the Education and Commercial sectors on a National basis.
The three main divisions offer over 70 course options to select from. We have a full suite of First Aid
courses, as well as a strong Health & Safety and Food Safety range.
Workshop style training delivery ensures that delegates are engaged fully during the training sessions
where they will undertake practical tasks, contribute their experiences to discussions and examine key case
studies. Our belief is that learning through doing is generally far more effective for the topics that we train
in and this principle is embedded throughout our courses. The tutor guides the learning rather than just
presenting facts and supporting presentations are largely for recapping rather than for the tutor
to read from!
We train in many subjects that are very emotive and these are always handled with appropriate sensitivity
however this doesn’t prevent the training sessions being lively, enjoyable, motivational and hence, all
importantly, memorable. This enables our delegates to return to their place of work ready to put into
practice the things they have learned with us.
Edify operates a modern, efficient booking system with the aim of being easy to work with and flexible too
when “things change”, as inevitably they do within business.
Quality & accreditationFrom the accuracy and ease of our booking system through to the success
of our training courses, and even the quality of our delegate handouts
and end certification, we strive for the highest quality in everything we
do. Equally importantly when things don’t go as planned, on either side,
we work with the aim of remedying matters swiftly and with the least
discomfort possible. We don’t get lost in the detail of who said what but
focus more on the issue at hand and how best to correct the problem.
Behind this ethos is a strong but flexible quality and accreditation system
which ensures high-quality outcomes in all we do along with continuous
improvement where experience suggests that better quality is possible.
Edify is a registered training centre for a number of awarding bodies
enabling us to offer a wide range of independently accredited qualifications.
We are also members of a number of professional bodies which helps us to
keep abreast of and contribute to latest subject thinking and best practice.

Working with colleagues and service users from other countries or cultures
can be challenging if experienced without proper understanding. They may
approach work tasks totally differently and have alternative priorities. Body
language can differ and common use phrases can get misunderstood.
This course raises awareness and encourages delegates to celebrate the
differences which can unite rather than divide us all.
This course is primarily for staff who work within a health and social care setting but can be tailored for Education and Commercial Sector clients. This sector has been pioneering in terms of the diversity of its staff and client base. It is therefore of fundamental importance for staff to explore equality and cultural differences to ensure a fair, co-operative and effective workplace.
