Beta 201 – Parents as Clients

The word “exceponal” is defined as “being out of the ordinary”, beer as normally found in most circumstances. It is of the utmost importance that teachers, assistants, administrave staff and owners understand the importance and implementaon of exceponal customer service. We must be aware that parents are our customers because they pay us for our services. We must understand that if they are not sasfied with our service they can take their business elsewhere. Which they oen do! If a parent removes their child from your school because of a staff members conduct towar ds them, the financial loss is substanve! A family with one child in your school spends approximately R 20 000.00 – R 36 000.00 a year with you. A family with two children can spend twice as much. If it is a young child that is taken out you can mulply that by 4 or five years! It is much more than R 100 000.00 loss! We take pride in our “word of mouth” markeng. It is human nature that customers tell a few when they are sasfied but many, many more if there has been a negave incident and they rem oved their child. Nursery Schools have been negavely impacted by parents using Social Media to blow an incident out of proporon. The financial expenditure of allowing all your staff to aend this course is minimal in comparison to the loss that may occur if they are not trained in “Exceponal Customer Service”. Cost: R420 per person.
