DEAR TRAILERPARK FRIENDFirst of all I want to thank everybody who takes part in TP and makes it both possible and, in our opinion, one of the most important festivals in Denmark. It´s been an absolute joy to work with all of you – from artists, musicians, dj´s, interns, and volunteers to sponsors, bloggers, photographers, sound & light designers and of course the entire ArtRebels production crew....without all of you TP wouldn´t be a reality! We have come a long way since (in a very spontaneous mo-ment) we first started TP 4 years ago. Each year, we learn from "mistakes" and improve upon the year before – and de-spite the hard work and planning, always feel it is worth all of the effort. We are already in full-swing working on next year's festival – finding funding, sponsors and partners and every-thing else we need to make it a great success. To celebrate the past 4 years, we have decided to put together an extraordinary TP compilation, which summons up some of the highlights from the past as well as exclusive TP tracks.

We also want to celebrate all the fantastic photographers and share some of their golden moments from 2010 with you in a limited edition TP photo book! All this to make you even more excited about the 5 year an-niversary of TP 2011, which will expand to a 4 days festival including a new and surprising add on called TP Academy. ARTMacabre-caberet meets the circus, whimsical bal-loon masterpieces dot the sky, a plane hums in the distance and beyond it all a log cabin and tugboat fashioned out of old trailers welcomes onlookers in for a relaxing chat with old and new friends alike. Welcome to Trailerpark 2010, where artists and creative folk transform ordinary looking materials into a sumptuous dreamscape. Stacks of pallets be-come a geometric mountain masterpiece, slabs of wood give life to charismatic characters, and straw like sticks create fanciful shadows that envelop the crowd into the wee hours of the morning.

KIDSAfter two nights of intense revelry, Sunday afternoon at Trail-erpark offers a peaceful reprieve. Last night’s partygoers lounge about and allow those who were tucked into bed by 8:30 the night before to provide the bursts of energy.

And what better place for children to frolic around then a place filled with colorful characters, bouncing clouds and ramps built for tumbles? Armed with their headphones they dance to the beats, slide down the ramps on giant pillows and provide us with the inspiration to pull it together for one more night of Trailerpark magic.

MUSICThe music at TRAILERPARK FESTIVAL is like a sweet shop. A really really big one with shelves filled from floor to ceiling – bursting with all sorts of sweets and candy. There is chocolate, liquorice, caramel, sweet and salty, hard and soft – everything your heart desires. There is both something sweet and something sour, something longlasting and something that gives a moment of delight - the perfect mix for the perfect night. It is like developing the ultimate cake recipe. A tad of this, a pinch of that, stir it well, add some sunshine, a little love and a whole lot of cre-ativity and diversity. Stir again and leave it to rest for a while before you add the final secret ingredient and put it in the tin to bake it. Re-member the icing, very important! Be careful with the ingredients; good quality raw materi-als always give the best results.

At TRAILERPARK FESTIVAL you will get both the cake and the candy.
