d-flexx flexible barriers are a superior barrier system for traffic management and pedestrian flow in warehouses and other work sites. Manufactured in Denmark from a polymer which is flexible, shock-absorbent and highly impact-resistant, they flex and absorb impact, then return to their original shape. We understand that all workplaces have different risks with the type, weight and speed of vehicles present, and nature of vehicle and pedestrian zones. We can work with you from zone planning, through to installation and beyond, to ensure you get the correct level of protection you need.

Following a site visit and planning meeting with the KiwiRail team, it was identified that controls would be required to safely allow people and traffic to move efficiently and harmoniously within the rail yard, whilst also restricting access for those not authorised to enter the site.

KiwiRail and Vanguard agreed on the plan and the product solutions required, before supply & installation got underway. The solution included a Walksafe Handrail System designed to segregate pedestrians & close off hazardous areas, Walksafe Self Closing Gates with one-way spring-loaded hinges to ensure the gate is always in the closed position and Expandable Barriers to have the flexibility to prevent un-authorised access when required.

Since the Vanguard solution has been implemented, the high level of risk for staff and visitors has been reduced dramatically and the ability of visitors to wander freely around the site has been almost eliminated. Another satisfied client, with their people now safer at work.

Vanguard recently put together a number of practical solutions for some businesses in the food and packaging manufacturing segments, allowing staff and mobile plant to move efficiently and safely around their workplace.
