Corporate Confession of Sin | Caleb Koornneef Good and gracious Father, You promise to rescue us from all of our fears. Yet we confess that our lives remain dominated by fear. Forgive us for seeking security in our own schemes of happiness rather than trusting You. Instead of fearing You — the eternal, unchanging God, we are consumed with what others think of us. We confess that we have not feasted on Your abundant goodness due to our complaining, critical, and discontented hearts. Forgive us, O Lord, and embolden us to trust You, for we pray in the strong name of Jesus Christ, our Advocate, Amen.

Assurance of Pardon

Ministry of Music | Bernie González, soloist Untitled Hymn (Come to Jesus) Orion Mendenall, violin Chris Tomlin Weak and wounded sinner, lost and left to die, Oh, raise your head for Love is passing by, Come to Jesus, come to Jesus, come to Jesus and live! Now your burden's lifted and carried far away, And precious blood has washed away the stain, So, sing to Jesus, sing to Jesus, sing to Jesus and live! And like a newborn baby, don't be afraid to crawl, And remember when you walk, sometimes we fall, So, fall on Jesus, fall on Jesus, fall on Jesus and live! Sometimes, the way is lonely and steep and filled with pain, So if your sky is dark and pours the rain, Then cry to Jesus, cry to Jesus, cry to Jesus and live! Oh and when the love spills over, and music fills the night, And when you can't contain your joy inside, Then dance for Jesus, dance for Jesus, dance for Jesus and live! With your final heartbeat kiss the world goodbye, Then go in peace, and laugh on Glory's side, And fly to Jesus, fly to Jesus, fly to Jesus and live!

Anthem | Mrs. Wilson, organ It Is Well with My Soul arr. Mack Wilberg When Peace, like a river, attendeth my way, When sorrows like sea billows roll; whatever my lot, Thou hast taught me to say, "It is well with my soul." Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come, Let this blest assurance control, That Christ has regarded my helpless estate, And has shed His own blood for my soul. It is well, it is well with my soul. It is well, it is well with my soul.

My sin, O the bliss of this glorious thought! My sin, not in part, but the whole, is nailed to the cross And I bear it no more; Praise the Lord, O my soul! And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight, The clouds be rolled back as a scroll; The trump shall resound and the Lord shall descend; Even so, it is well with my soul!

Welcome to in-person and online worship at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church. We are truly living in uncertain times. However, Jesus says, “Do not let your hearts be troubled.”

How could He say such a thing in the midst of a world full of pain and suffering? Does He have an answer to comfort a troubled heart?

In fact, Jesus gives us the only antidote when He says, “Believe in God; believe also in me.” Jesus is calling us to believe in the One who was dead, but is now alive. If the resurrection is true, He alone has the power to redeem any circumstance. Jesus can work through anything that life has thrown your way. The world’s answer is to believe in yourself. But that doesn’t seem to offer any real hope. On the contrary, Jesus tells us to stop believing in yourself and instead believe in Him. This is real hope in a hopeless world.

So whether you’ve been a Christian for years or you’re exploring who Jesus is, I pray you are encouraged by this good news. Please let me know how Coral Ridge can serve you in the days and weeks ahead!

Forever Hopeful,

Rob Pacienza, Lead Pastor [email protected] | 954.334.5102
