James A. ReardonJames A. Reardon was born next-door to the Old San Buenaventura Mission, but most of his adult years were spent in Oxnard, CA. He was an active member and P.E.R. of the Oxnard BPOE Elks, Lodge 1443, Oxnard Rotary Club and the Knights of Columbus. He studied mortuary science in New York in 1934, and later in 1937, he opened the beau-tiful James A. Reardon Mortuary that is still in operation today, and ran by the Tipton family and his daughter Cynthia Baumgartner. Though Mr. Reardon passed away April 14, 2007, The Reardon Funeral Home is proud to continue his legacy and offer profes-sional service at prices that make sense. Our funeral home is open to be a place of peace and comfort to the Ventura County community.

David TiptonDavid was born and raised in Port Hueneme and is a graduate of both Hueneme High School and Cypress College of Mortuary Science. He was married to his wife of 28 years, Stacey, and was the father of nine children: six boys and three girls. David served the families of Ventura County for almost 40 years in the Funeral Industry. Working in parts of both Southern California and Oregon, David worked as a Funeral Director, Embalmer and was a general manager for numerous locations spanning across Ventura and Oxnard until he saw his dream of owning a funeral home come true in 2010. He was also a member of the Lions Club, Elks club and was a Past President of the Oxnard Rotary Club.David knew how important it was to offer quality services at affordable prices, and in-stilled that same philosophy in his children. Sadly, he passed away on September 4, 2012 due to many health issues, but his legacy of great service to others will carry on through his loving wife Stacey and his children
