Tradition and culture

The main religión in Maurice is the Hinduism, all tough there are also a lot of Christians and Muslims. The symbol that represents the Hinduism is the one below:

This symbol is called “Om”.

Statues and idolsThis statue is the most famous one. It represents one of the Hindu Gods, called “Shiva”.

This statue is also “Shiva”, but in another part of Maurice.

This is antoher statue from Maurice. It is one of their Gods called “Ganesh Chaturti”

These is the statue there is behind “Ganesh”. She is one of the godess of the Hindu religion.

Here you can see some people praying.

These is an Hindu godess called “Surya”.

As you have been seeing lots of the statues I’ve showed you are very near from the Great Bassin, a very nice lake to go and visit.

Traditional parties!!!Holi is a spring festival, also known as the festival of colours or the festival of love. It is an

ancient Hindu religious festival wich has become popular.I think it is a very original party, look at these photos:
