    We were first attracted to the sizeable spacious rooms and the garden here, as well as the fact that this property was so near to the beach.

    Our favourite room is most probably the kitchen, a great social space where we spend most of our time. It’s great to be able to all spend time together while one of you is cooking, and it’s ideal for family life.

    Being situated in a quiet cul-de-sac away from the main road, the location feels both private and safe, while still very accessible to the beach, the town, travel links and all the local amenities you could possibly need. The seafront is just a short 5-minute walk from the front door, while the new retail park consists of supermarkets, shops and other amenities. Whitstable town centre is full of lovely independent shops, offering something for everyone.

    The area is also great for commuters, with fast road connections, and the train station is just a 10-minute drive away, which includes the high speed services to London.

    We bought this property as a new house back in 2005 and thoroughly enjoyed all that it has provided us with. Now that we are downsizing we know that we will miss the large rooms and spacious feel that we have become accustomed to over the past 13 years.
