Like the original Shiny Printer, the Shiny Printer Dater still works as well
as ever. Renowned for their durable bands, Shiny Printer Daters are the
preferred choice of many customers with high volume needs. The time
tested Printer Dater provides great results at an affordable price.
Special locking grooves on the back of the date bands provide a sure
positioning system for accurate and consistent alignment of the bands.
Shiny Premium Printer
Designed as a Premium Product for the most discerning user, the
Premium Printer features many new design concepts. From the soft
touch grip to the non slip feet, the Premium Printer has been designed
to impress the most discerning stamp user.
Described as "the best self inking stamp ever made" by one of
Australia's leading stamp manufacturers, Premium Printers are
available in a limited range at a higher price than other models.
Shiny New Printer
Incorporating many of the design features of the Premium Printer, the
New Printer provides and economic option without the additional
expense.
• Note: All Shiny Printers are supplied with a pad (Black, Blue, Red or Dry
only) and are available singularly. Bulk packs of 12 are available.

Shiny is using recycled plastic materials to produce their ECO line of products.
The PET products within the ECO range are made from waste soft drink and water
bottles.
This is reducing the consumption of fossil fuels and lowering CO2 emissions.
It also reduces waste which is becoming an environmental nightmare world wide.

Low Emissions Manufacturing
All products in our LEM collection are finished without using any water whatsoever and are produced
without chemicals so you can be sure nothing goes down your drain.
You can also say goodbye to complaints from your staff and customers about dust and offensive odours.
LEM uses light or heat to seal the surface of a foam text plate in just a few seconds so the process is clean
and odour free.
Much less power is used in the LEM process than any other method currently available. So little, in fact,
that a 100 watt globe left on for one hour uses more power than is required to process a batch of LEM
stamps!
All products in the LEM collection are designed to be re-inked so replacement pads, the waste that they
produce and the problems they create in inventory can all be eliminated.
In short, the LEM method has the lowest overall environmental impact of any stamp manufacturing
method presently available and is the obvious choice for environmentally aware manufacturers and
consumers alike.

LEM - The Collection
1. Lay your laser printed vellum onto the glass plate and cover with clear film
2. Place the text plates over the artwork within the alignment lines.
3. Close the clamp and lock into place.
4. Activate the machine. The process will complete in about 20 seconds.
5. Select the colour of ink required form our range of 12 colours and apply to the text plate.
6. Assemble the stamp according to the specific instructions for the product being processed.

premium pre-inked stamps.

Like all products in the LEM family, Multi Surface Stamps can be re-inked indefinitely to deliver
hundreds of thousands of impressions and, when the time is right, they can be re-used by replacing
the text plate and ink cartridge.
Multi Surface Stamps are made with Shiny Non Porous ink.
This Ink prints on glossy paper, photos, fabric, glass, metal
most plastics and is water resistant.
Available in 15ml,500ml and 1 Litre bottles. ( 1 Ltr indent only )
We recommend that this Ink be tested on a sample piece or in
a non critical area of the item to be imprinted to ensure that the
correct results are achieved.
Multi surface Stamps by iStamp represent the next
generation of products for non-porous applications offered by
Astron.
Your customers will appreciate the modern, soft touch handle

NSP Series stamps represent the blending of a traditional rubber stamp style with the very latest
processing technology. Designed with the cost conscious customer in mind, NSP Series stamps are a low
cost product for processing with Rapid Process Technology. This allows rubber stamp manufacturers to
provide an economical product without expensive materials and time consuming processes that traditional
rubber stamps require.
NSP Series stamps are assembled as easily as self inking stamps and can deliver up to 10,000 high
quality impressions on a single ink load. Like all our pre-inked stamps, NSP series stamps can be re-inked
time and again for thousands more impressions.

These elegant precision made, cast
desk embossers make a fine addition
to any desk or office.
The embossers are metal cast, then
individually polished by hand to
create a smooth, beautiful surface.
They are available with a baked-on
black epoxy finish, a plated 24K
lustrous gold flashed finish or a

Some years ago Daylight Contact Films replaced
silver sensitised films, cameras and darkrooms
used for the production of negative film.
These being an essential requirement to produce
polymer plates or photopolymer stamp dies.
For many years the Print and Graphic Arts sector
have worked on Computer to Plate or Computer
to Film Digital technology.
Astron has selected the most appropriate Digital
Technology for Computer to Negative processing
for our customers needs.
NovaSharp Pearl 100
NovaSharp Pearl 100 is a semi-transparent, bright white,
polyester based, matte finish film specifically designed for high
toner adhesion at lower levels of toner consumption.
The special anti-static coating which provides sharp, smooth
images is applied to both sides for ease of use and the product
can be stack fed through most laser printers and copiers.
The high image density (dMax 2.40 to 2.70 when sprayed with
NovaDense Plus) makes NovaSharp Pearl the best choice for
photopolymer plates and liquid polymer stamp dies.

NovaDense Plus
NovaDense Plus is an Image Density Booster solution that enhances
the toner density. The enhanced density produces image quality
comparable to silver sensitised film.

Imagepac Xtra is the perfect product for making
business stamps. It is pre-packaged 50 durometer
photopolymer in a sachet with an integrated backing
sheet to provide rigidity in the manufacturing and
assembly process. It offers all the handling benefits
of sheet polymer with the low cost and water
washability of liquid resin.
Imagepac Xtra Saves Time and Money
No mess, no pouring resin, no spills and no need to clean up the exposure unit. No plate assembly
time, no more laying film and tape and pouring resin, saving over 10 minutes on average per plate.
Less waste typically providing the user with a reduction of up to 30% in waste resin, damming tape,

IDEAL® iLW
Liquid Washout Concentrate
The Ideal iLW is a cost efficient liquid washout concentrate that effectively
removes the uncured polymer during the washout stage. iLW provides
excellent results and washout life whether it is used in automatic tank
washout systems or hand washing. This is an important step to producing
tack-free plates.*
IDEAL® iPX
The Ideal iPX is a patent pending post exposure additive that effectively
eliminates tack when used with i Series photopolymers and iPW washout
additive.*
*The iLW and iPX have been scientifically formulated to produce tack-free
plates with i Series photopolymers. Use of other washout concentrates or
post exposure additives may not yield the same tack-free results.
IDEAL® iBooster
The Ideal Booster is a washout additive that extends washout life in
all water conditions. This is highly recommended for use when hard
water conditions exist. The booster is used in addition to the iLW
washout additive.
IDEAL® iDfoam
The Ideal iDfoam is a de-foamer that is added to the washout solution to
eliminate foaming in spray washout equipment.
IDEAL® “c” Series Substrate
The Ideal “c” Series Substrate backing sheets have been developed
to provide unprecedented adhesion to the photopolymer. The “c”
series substrate also has excellent light diffusion which results in
smoother, more consistent backgrounds.
IDEAL® Damming Tape
This tape provides a dam to keep the poured photopolymer in place
over the cover film and negative. It helps to insure even and
consistent total die height. This disposable foam tape is easy and
economical to use.
Replacement Lamps
Replacement UV lamps with the optimal UV bandwidth are available

Our experience
Chris has been involved in the rubber stamp industry since 1977 when he joined Astron having trained in electronics with Telecom. Chris took over the reins from his father in 1989 and quickly set about building the business in the stamp industry. Chris is the only supplier representative to be elected President of the Rubber Stamp Industry Association.
Trevor joined Modern Rubber Stamps in 1977 and worked in every role involved in stamp making. After some years Trevor was appointed as Sales and Marketing Manager and helped grow the business to a dominant position in the South Australia market. Modern Rubber Stamps is one of three manufacturers that were purchased and combined into Pelikan Artline’s stamp operation. During a sabbatical from the industry Trevor worked on The Ghan railway for a short while where he accumulated the odd tale or two!
John joined Astron in 1993 and immediately became responsible for technical support having worked with electronics for many years. John quickly became familiar with the various manufacturing processes used in the rubber stamp industry in order to provide sound advice to our customers.
Jeremy joined Astron in 1999 while studying Computer Technology part time. Apart from providing IT and Computer services to the company Jeremy has spent much of his time in purchasing and logistics. Jeremy has wide product knowledge and has strong international contacts within the industry.
Roxann is a highly qualified scientific photographer who joined Astron during 1999 when her skills were immediately put to work preparing product images for promotional purposes. Roxann’s talents extend to graphic design and preparation of promotional materials for our clients.
Roxine has been providing outstanding service to our customers since 2001 when she joined the company. Roxine’s previous employment was as a Steward at Government House where she regularly served dignitaries and has even has served HM Queen Elizabeth! Roxine is the primary contact for day to day ordering and customer service.
Kim joined the company as Financial Controller in 2004 and quickly set about becoming familiar with our customers and product range in addition to her substantive duties. Kim is often found in our warehouse picking and packing orders to help out and has proven to be very helpful in customer service whenever necessary.

Prices
Unless otherwise specified, all prices published by Astron Industries are in Australian Dollars and are subject to alteration without notice. Astron Industries will endeavour to provide reasonable forward advice of price changes wherever possible.
Goods and Services Tax (GST)
GST is not included in Astron’s list prices. GST will be added to, and shown separately on, all invoices issued. Invoices issued by Astron Industries are compliant Tax Invoices as defined under the New Tax System legislation.
Dispatch of Goods
Astron Industries will endeavour to dispatch all stock orders within 24 hours. Orders received prior to 2pm on any business day for items held in stock will, under normal circumstances, be dispatched on that day.
Freight
Unless otherwise agreed freight will be charged as an additional item on all invoices issued for the supply of goods where the cost of freight can be reasonably determined at the time of shipment. Otherwise freight will be invoiced separately at a later time.
Claims and Returns
Claims will only be accepted within 30 days of the date of delivery. Returns will only be accepted on prior arrangement and may incur a handling charge or re-stocking fee at the discretion of Astron Industries.
