Introduction The following information is intended to familiarize the user with the current capability of the new Trac-King website. The website has been redesigned in association with StarTrak to support mixed fleet operations.

The website address is: http://trac-king.startrak.com/

Setup and Initial Login The website was developed and tested using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 with service pack 2. Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or 6.0 is recommended for all users. You must have JavaScript enabled in your browser to view asset information on the website. To enable JavaScript select Tools/Internet Options/Security/Custom Level/Scripting/Active Scripting/Enable from your browser's menu bar. If you do not see the option to enable JavaScript as previously described, you must update your browser. Free system updates and browser software can be downloaded directly from Microsoft.com.

Login Screen This is the first screen you will see after going to the trac-king.startrak.com website.

Enter the User ID and the password. Once logged in, a user can change their password at any time (select Settings found in the upper right corner of most screens, then select the User Settings tab and enter the old and new password information).

If you forget your password, a link is available to retrieve your password (select >> Forgot Your Password ? and it will be sent to you via the email address associated with your account).

If you need to email the Trac-King administrator, click on the address that appears on most of the site pages: [email protected]

Website Basics The website will automatically logout the user and return to the login screen if there is no activity within the Session Expiration period. The user will need to login again to continue.

Asset Search Select Search in the upper right corner of any screen to access the Asset Search Tool.

Enter all or part of the asset ID in the text box and select Search.

Sign Out Select Sign Out in the upper right corner of any screen before exiting the website.

Change Fleet Select Change Fleet in the upper right corner of any screen to access the fleet selection tool. Only the fleet(s) you have permission to view will appear in the pulldown menu.

Use the pulldown menu to highlight the desired fleet, and then select Select Fleet

iService Center Select iService Center in the upper right corner of any screen to open a new browser window with the Thermo King iService website login screen.

Note: You must be an existing authorized iService user to login to the iService website.

Dealer Locator Select Dealer Locator in the upper right corner of any screen to open a new browser window with the Thermo King Dealer Locator Tool screen.

User Manual Select User Manual in the upper right corner of any screen to open an Adobe Acrobat Reader window displaying the most current version of this manual. You may view, print, search, and download this manual for future reference as needed. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader loaded on your computer for this link to operate correctly. To download a free copy of Acrobat Reader, visit www.adobe.com.

Asset Reports (summary) The following report screens are currently available and can be displayed by clicking on the report name with your cursor:

1. Reefer Reports a. Reefer Status Report b. Maintenance Report c. Pretrip Report d. Alarm Report

2. Logistics Reports a. Utilization Report b. CLM Report (Rail only)

3. Command Reports a. Command Status b. Command History

4. Asset History Note: Access the Asset History Screens by clicking on the specific Asset ID first.

a. Reefer History b. Maintenance History c. Pretrip History d. Alarm history e. Utilization History f. CLM History g. Asset Command History

Most reports (excluding Asset History reports) can be organized (sorted) by column heading. Click on a column heading to sort the asset (ascending or descending). Click on the same column heading again to reverse the sort.

Basic Operations The following are step-by-step procedures for some common asset management tasks. Use this section as a quick-reference for the following website operations:

• Checking the Asset Status

• Changing an Asset Setpoint

• Clearing an Asset Alarm

Checking the Asset Status

1. Use Change Fleet to select the desired fleet. Press “Select Fleet” once the desired fleet is highlighted. Only the fleet(s) you have

permission to view will appear in the pulldown menu.

2. From the Reefer Reports – Reefer Status Report screen (or any screen with a button) use the checkbox at the far left of the screen to select the desired asset. You may check the status of multiple assets simultaneously by selecting multiple checkboxs.

3. Press .

4. Press “Send Command” once Poll Reefer Status is highlighted. 5. Press [ Refresh ].

6. An orange status line will appear near the middle of the screen indicating the Poll Reefer Status command has been sent. 7. It can take from 3-20 minutes for an asset to respond.

While the command is processing, will appear in the Cmd column next to the selected asset indicating the command is in process. The various columns of information about the asset will update and will appear in the Cmd column next to the selected asset once the asset responds.

If the asset does not respond to the command after 20 minutes the command will time out and will appear in the Cmd column next to the selected asset to indicate an error.

8. Press [ Refresh ] as necessary to make sure the screen information is current. 9. View the Command Reports – Command Status screen for more details about the command (see Command Reports - Command Status

Screen for additional information).

Changing an Asset Setpoint

1. Use Change Fleet to select the desired fleet. Press “Select Fleet” once the desired fleet is highlighted. Only the fleet(s) you have

permission to view will appear in the pulldown menu.

2. From the Reefer Reports – Reefer Status Report screen (or any screen with a button) use the checkbox at the far left of the screen to select the desired asset. You may change multiple assets to the same setpoint simultaneously by selecting multiple checkboxs.

3. Press and select the “Change Setpoint” tab (default).

4. Press “Send Command” once the desired setpoint temperature is highlighted. 5. Press [ Refresh ].

Clearing an Asset Alarm

1. Use Change Fleet to select the desired fleet. Press “Select Fleet” once the desired fleet is highlighted. Only the fleet(s) you have

permission to view will appear in the pulldown menu.

2. View the Reefer Reports – Reefer Status Report screen. An A will appear in the Alarms column next to any asset with a current alarm.

3. Use the Reefer Reports – Alarm Report screen for more details about the alarm (see Reefer Reports - Alarm Report for additional information).

4. From the Reefer Reports – Reefer Status Report screen (or any screen with a button) use the checkbox at the far left of the screen to select the desired asset. You may clear the alarms of multiple assets simultaneously by selecting multiple checkboxs.

6. Press and select the “Reefer Action” tab.

7. Press “Send Command” once the “Clear Alarm(s)” radio button has been selected. 8. Press [ Refresh ].
