Respected sir,
With reference to the above cited subject, we have completed plastic free campaign
(swachata hi seva -19 ) in period from 11.9.2019 to 02.10.2019. We collected waste plastic from
150 acres campus and nearby area of college of engineering, Osmanabad. We made department
wise teams of faculties and students; distributed specific area to make plastic free it. On occasion
of Mahatma Ganghi jayanti, on 2.10.2019, we celebrated it by photo pooja of Mahatma Ganghiji
followed by Sharamdaan to clean campus and nearby area. On this occasion Dr, Mane V.V.,
Principal, COE, Osmanabad , advised the students to follow the thoughts of Mahatma Ganghiji
in life. After speech of principal, we all staff and students cleaned attached road from high way
to main building of college. We also organized two essay writing competition on topic
Swachata Hi Seva and My Favorite Social Worker.
To complete this campaign we formed following committee. Under this committee we
executed the programmes.
