City of Fremantle Grants Program Application Template By this stage you should have read the Arts Guidelines and contacted the Grants Officer to discuss your project. The purpose of this document is to allow you to prepare for your grant application. It provides you with identical questions to those you will address in your actual application. As the application is done through an online portal in one session, we suggest you prepare all of your answers here, then simply copy and paste them across to the actual form. Application Template

Project Name (max. 10 words)

Where in Fremantle will your project take place? Have you checked availability and confirmed a booking?

Risks (max. 200 words)

Identify risks e.g. weather, competition, limited resources, a lack of engagement. What is your contingency plan?

Project Start DateYour project may start a minimum of 8 weeks from the close of the grant round. This is also the latest date by which you will receive news about your grant application.

Project End Date Your project must conclude 12 months from the latest notification date (see above).

Your BudgetWhat is the total amount you are asking the City of Fremantle for?

Prepare your budget within the template provided. File to be named after your project in readiness for attachment.

Prepare one pdf document encompassing quotes for significant budget items (over $1000). File to be named after your project in readiness for attachment.

Support Materials Support materials are not required, but are recommended. Be selective, only 3 support materials (including one link) can be submitted. Test your files before submission, plus ensure that they can be opened utilising

standard software. Compressed files presenting multiple, dissimilar support materials will be

dismissed. Combine similar support materials together in one pdf i.e. CVs, letters of support,

images.

TIPS

Be concise and specific to your project.

Inspire the panel who will assess your application.

Ensure you know the criteria by which your application will be assessed.

Ensure your application is complete as incomplete submissions will be dismissed.
