For 1.0 TSI/81 kW and 1.0 TSI/81 kW MHEV without tow bar preparation – removing the aerodynamic exhaust cover on the underbody of the car is necessary per the service manual. If the specified procedure is not followed, there is a risk of damaging the fuel tank!

The tow bar is manufactured from high-quality materials, it has undergone load tests as well as rigorous testing for strength and resistance to corro-sion. The tow bar complies with homologation TMB PS 156: E8*55R01/07*55879*00 and all Czech and international regulations. With this tow bar, a simple automatic mechanism allows the ball hitch to be swivelled out into the working position and then, when it is no longer needed, swivelled back in beneath the bumper. Retrofitting a tow bar to your vehicle increases the demand on its cooling system. As a result, depending on the equipment fitted to the vehicle, the cooling system components will need to be repla-ced in accordance with the information either held by workshop technicians in authorised ŠKODA AUTO specialist service centres / B2B.
