You get to experience, up close, a fundamental aspect of our rural culture in the recently opened alpine dairy in the Musteralpe at Lake Plansee. Right on site you get an insight into artisan cheese-making, at any time th-rough a big glass wall. Those who are particularly interested can take part in a guided tour of the produc-tion facilities every Thursday at 10:00 a.m. and get information from tenant and dairyman Horst Meusbur-ger about the ins and outs of cheese production – free of charge. You do of course get to sample the top-qua-lity local product, enjoy it in various dishes or just buy it packed.
