The infrastructure ranges from ports of entry, to modes of transport to destinations, to urban infrastructure supporting tourism facilities such as access roads, power electricity, water supply, sewage etc.

Maximum duration of visa are issued is 180 days.
Special permits:• In case of border states and two
groups of islands (Andaman& lakshwadeep) visitors require special entry permit.
• This permit is valid for only 15 days.

Economic regulationsCurrency: tourists are not allowed
to bring Indian currency into the country or out of the country.
On arrival visitors should declare all foreign currency above $ 1000.
Income tax: if a person not domiciled in india intension to stay for more than 120days, and income tax clearence certificate is required in order to leave in country.
