Wednesday, October 14 DA morning departure begins this journey to our first Chateau which was inspired by the Chateaux of the Swiss Alps, and constructed with 10,000 red cedar logs, all cut and set by hand. For nearly 90 years, our hotel, the Fairmont Le Château Montebello has been known for its rustic charm, superb architecture and beautiful natural surroundings. Described as the true Canadian experience, and the world’s largest log cabin.

Thursday, October 15 BThis morning, we leave for Parc Omega to board the park’s bus and enjoy a guided tour. Parc Omega is a wildlife park where you will experience the wild Canadian nature. It is an opportunity to discover our fauna, history, heritage and the culture of our First Nations. The evening is yours to relax.

Friday, October 16 BToday, travel to historical Quebec City. On arrival, we will have a guided tour of the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac. We then proceed to the historic 1830’s Hotel Manoir Victoria, our home for the next two nights. Tonight, is free to explore the area and enjoy the ambiance of Old Quebec.

Saturday, October 17 BWe begin the day with a guided sightseeing tour of Quebec City, including Place d’Armes, The Plains of Abraham, The Joan of Arc Garden, Place Royal and more. The afternoon is at your leisure.

Sunday, October 18 B, DA morning departure begins our journey to the next Chateau for our two-night stay, the Fairmont Tremblant, located in the breath-taking area of Mont-Tremblant in the Laurentians. This chateau was built in 1997, with the concept of a modern-day chateau situated in harmony with its natural surrounding and colourful pedestrian village. Arrival is expected at dinnertime.

Monday, October 19 BEnjoy a morning guided tour of the Mont-Tremblant area, where nature is blissful and bountiful. The afternoon is free to explore the pedestrian village, which features French inspired architecture.

Tour the Breakers Mansion known as the grandest of Newport’s summer “cottages” and a symbol of the Vanderbilt family’s social and financial pre-eminence at the turn of the century. Free time for lunch on the historic downtown waterfront, filled with cobblestone shopping wharves and restaurants. Depart Newport and travel to the sandy shores of Cape Cod.

Thursday, September 10 - Provincetown CBTravel along the historic Route 6A, a scenic byway winding through centuries of Cape Cod history. View the Eastham Windmill, a Cape Cod Lighthouse and visit the Cape Cod National Seashore Visitor’s Centre. Sand dunes and the ocean surround you as you approach “Land’s End” – Provincetown. This afternoon, board an excursion vessel for an amazing experience of whale watching.

Friday, September 11 - Martha’s Vineyard CB, DBoard the high-speed ferry to the island of Martha’s Vineyard. Enjoy a “Down Island” tour. Learn the history and lifestyles of the islanders as we pass through the picturesque villages. Free time for lunch and shopping in the historic whaling town of Edgartown. Complete your day on the island in Oak Bluffs. Stroll through “Cottage City” with its brightly painted cottages and decorative “gingerbread” trim. Return to Hyannis for the evening.

Saturday, September 12 - Hyannis/Sandwich/Plymouth CB, DTour Hyannis which includes the John F. Kennedy Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, Hyannis Port and a view of St. Francis Xavier Church, the summer parish of the Kennedy Family. Drive through Sandwich – the oldest town on Cape Cod. This quaint and quiet seaside community is the hometown of Thornton Burgess, a naturalist and author of 170 children’s books. We will travel to America’s Hometown – Plymouth, home of the Pilgrim Fathers and one of the country’s first settlements. Arrive at the historical Salem Cross Inn for the “Fireplace Feast”. Relax by the fieldstone fireplace as the crackling fire roasts our prime rib.
