Student Account in PeopleSoft (Before Enrolling in Payment Plan)

Student Account in Bill+Payment (Before Enrolling in Payment Plan)

Payment Plan Setup in Bill+PaymentAccount Type setup to designate eligible charges to include in payment plan.

Configuration of how to pay off eligible charges in PeopleSoft when students enroll in Payment Plan including the Item Type for ongoing installment payments.

Can include Financial Aid Item Types to reduce balance of each installment.

Payment Plan Budget Worksheet (Bill+Payment)

Pulls in the Account Types designated on the Plan (from Plan setup on previous screen)

Will show additional charges of account types NOT on the plan

Student Account in Bill+Payment (After Enrolling in Payment Plan)

Shows the remaining Payment Plan balance for eligible charges with new line item for charges not on the plan.

Student Account in PeopleSoft (After Enrolling in Payment Plan)

New Item type appears for Payment Plan Enrollment Fee.NOTE: Total Balance remains the same as before Payment Plan enrollment due to offsets.

Account Details in PeopleSoft (After Enrolling in Payment Plan)

Parking Fee Account Type remains the same as this is a charge that was not part of the Payment Plan.

Housing Account Type shows the new offset due to enrollment in Payment Plan. A payment to pay off the account type is added while a new Payment Plan charge creates the offset.

Tuition Account Type is paid off with “Move to Payment Plan” Item Type.New Payment Plan charge is added as the offset.

New item type is added to the account for the Payment Plan setup fee.
