Our Goal for OBSESS is to encourage young girls to live a life of sur-render and devotion to God now when they are young. We believe that anyone on fire for God can be a bright light in a dark world no matter what age they are. Through OBSESS we hope to inspire girls to be-come obsessed with knowing God and making Him known to the world.

CHARIS: We have NOTHING without Grace -

What sustains you? Without Christ we can do nothing, we have nothing, and we are nothing. Christ is our life, our strength, and our meaning. Do you really need him? Do you really want Him? If you don't, then are you His, and if you aren't His then whose are you? Even the “good” girl is lost without grace. This isn't just grace that saved you from your sins either, this is grace that keeps you from sin, emboldens you, empowers you, and really, it saves you from yourself. Ephesians 2:4-5 “But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quick-ened us together with Christ (by grace ye are saved)

ELEUTHEROO: We Find Freedom in Confronting Lies “I am ugly.” “Nobody wants me.” “I'm just a bother, good for nothing.” “The world would be better without me.” “I'll never amount to anything.” Sound familiar? Do you find yourself overwhelmed with the constant barrage of lies about yourself? Yes, that's what they are LIES! What you listen to is what you become. Who are you listening to? The only way to combat a lie is with truth. Truth my friend will set you free. Let us explore what truth is, embrace it, and leave the lies to their own demise. OBSESS is a five day camp for girls ages 13-16, that will be held June 17-21 at the Pleasant View Church Camp, in Sullivan, Illinois. The week is an intense time of edification and encouragement that consists of daily initiatives, sessions, and. of course, fun. Throughout OBSESS young girls will be stretched, sometimes beyond their comfort zone, with the purpose of instilling them with a passion for God and a desire to grow in Him

AXIOS: He is Worthy - How great is your God? What is He worth to you? “If you could have heaven, with no sickness, and with all the friends you ever had on earth, and all the food you ever liked, and all the leisure activities you ever en-joyed, and all the natural beauties you ever saw, all the physical pleasures you ever tasted, and no human conflict or any natural disasters, could you be satisfied with heaven, if Christ were not there?” Revelation 5:12 “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and bless-ing!” SAMACH: He is Fullness of Joy - Joy is not just a feeling, but a state of mind. Happiness is circumstantial, but joy can empower people to thrive in the greatest of suffering. Joy enables the martyr to sing! When we are truly His, our deepest emotions and desires find their fulfillment. We were made to glorify God and enjoy Him forever, why not start now? Psalm 16:11 “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy: at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. PATHEMATON: Pain is a Gift - Life is full of pain. What can we do to bear that pain? Bearing the pain does not mean that we pretend it doesn't hurt. Rather, we carry the depths of our grief to God in lamentation. How do we go about expressing and releasing our pain to God? Let Him carry the weight, and in exchange give him praise and adoration simply because He is worthy. Something amaz-ing happens when we do this; even our deepest pain can be redeemed and become meaningful.
