(the menu is displayed) press digit 2 or use the direction keypad to move to d second item which is numbered 2, and press enter (for survey measurements)1. (to triangulate i.e to set station) press f1 and confirm with f4 (the 1st line of information seeks to know if you're setting on an unknown point ) press f4(to accept)1. (the next thing is to input first known point/benchmark coordinates..if it is stored on the instrument), press f2,( to load stored points or type d name of the point, if it is not stored), press f3, (to input a new point coordinate)1. (If stored point displays) press f4 to confirm (make sure the EDM type is correct by pressing f4 and then EDM, and choose mini for mini glass or "wan chinese thing wey dey indicate big reflector" and f3 to confirm, but if reflector trype is already okay by default, jst prepare to bisect reflector mirror at the first point or benchmark)1. (bisect reflector glass at 1st benchmark and) press f1 (when instrument finish recording,)1. Press f2 to continue1. Then Press f2 (to load second point/benchmark coordinate or) press f3 (to type in and store new coordinate for second point/ benchmark and )press f4 (to confirm)1. (bisect the reflector glass at the second point/benchmark and) press f11. (the entire angle results and errors will be displayed, if it is okay by the operator) press f1 and press f4 (to use instrument as prepared)1. To set out any point) press f3 and f4 (to confirm, then) press f4 and f4 and f2, (then type in the coordinate of the point to be set.) na so e be.Setting instrument on a bench mark1. Switch on instrument from d side (a booting page displays 1. (After a beeping sound) the centering bubble appear, with a red light emitted directly beneath the centre. Centre the bubble with this light at the center of the point/ bench mark. Then press f41. (the menu is displayed) press digit 2 or use the direction keypad to move to d second item which is numbered 2, and press enter (for survey measurements)1. (to triangulate i.e to set station) press f1 and confirm with f4 (the 1st line of information seeks to know if you're setting on an unknown point, but this time you're setting on a known point/benchmark, so using the direction buttons, press it towards the left once. Second line seeks to know the name of the point or benchmark{if stored} type name of the point/ upon which the instrument is set, or input it, if it hasnt been stored. The third line wants the height of the centre of the instrument from the top tip of the point/benchmark, using a tape, measure the height, and then type it in and press enter ) then press f41. (the next thing is to input the other known point/benchmark coordinates on which the reflector is..if it is stored on the instrument), press f2,( to load stored points or type d name of the point, if it is not stored), press f3, (to input a new point coordinate )1. (bisect reflector glass at the benchmark and) press f1 (when instrument finish recording, it will display typed values for height and coordinates and calculated values for height and coordinates) press f2 (to choose the calculated values,) press f11. Then press f2 and f4, the f4 and f4 again to check coordinate..shoot by pressing f2. if there's no error or the error is within limits, say 5mm, the carry out setting out by, pressing esc, the esc again, the f3, f4, f4.then f4 f4, f2, to type in the coordinate you want to set out
