In addition to our increasingly active role in sustainability efforts, TIC contin-ues its strong tradi-tion of supporting the communities where we live and work.

>>> message from senior managementFor TIC, sustainability is about taking a leadership role in providing increasingly eco-friendly products to the markets that we serve. By bringing new eco-products to the market place and by improving existing products to have less of an environmental im-pact, our technologies and products contribute to future generations using less energy with the same quality of life. This ensures that our actions align with our shared sustain-ability values and our internal company goal of operational excellence and efficiency. TIC manufactures or distributes reliable and safe infrastructure products, systems and technology, while maintaining a commitment to keeping all our operations as environ-mentally friendly as possible.

We have Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) management systems and work procedures to ensure that all our production methods and field service processes are in line with our commitment to being a great place to work and a good corporate citi-zen. Throughout the year, our management is consistently working on improving EH&S performance and bringing new or more efficient products to market.

In addition to our increasingly active role in sustainability efforts, TIC continues its strong tradition of supporting the communities where we live and work. These efforts include employee volunteer days that benefit local charitable and community service groups; employee participation in tree planting, the local park clean up and e-waste recycling; and financial support for various worthy causes.

We have committed EH&S, CSR, Product and Engineering teams that contribute to our progress in the areas of operational safety, environmental, sustainability and prod-uct improvements, while maintaining our commitment to our diverse customers. We continue to educate our employees as a way to utilize the expertise and ingenuity of all our workers and further integrate environmental and sustainability decision-making into every function.

TIC is a Toshiba America Inc. (TAI) Group Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Toshiba Corporation. TIC is headquartered in Houston, Texas and employs approxi-mately 1,200 people. >>> featured sustainability projectEach year many TIC employees and their families provide services to the communities in which they work and live. Employees from our corporate office and Industrial and Power Systems Divisions donated their time and energy to help keep our public parks and green spaces clean. In October, the third annual Tree Planting and Green Space Clean Up took place. More than 50 volunteers, including our President, participated to plant 40 trees. TIC donated $20K to our continuing partner, Trees For Houston. TIC employees also participated in a Buena Vista Park Gardening and Habitat Restoration Project.

>>> looking forwardTIC is committed to growing its emerging Eco-Businesses to become a market leader in the North American green energy market. Also, its operations will be as safe and en-vironmentally conscious as possible. TIC seeks continuous improvement in this vitally important effort toward sustainability. TIC is also committed to being a good corporate citizen by encouraging employee volunteerism, supporting STEM education and envi-ronmental-related activities, and providing financial support to worthy causes.
